The mount is unobtainable — don't waste your time. If you came to this guide looking for a way to get the Dread Gladiator's Proto-Drake — unfortunately, it has been impossible since January 2019. The mount was a limited seasonal reward.

Check your achievements. If you played PvP during BfA Season 1, check the "Achievements" tab — you may have already earned the mount but not activated it. Open the mount journal and search for "dread."

Keep an eye on the current season. If you are interested in gladiator mounts, focus on the current PvP season. Each new season offers a unique reward.

Gladiator is teamwork. Earning a gladiator mount in any season requires a stable team of three players for 3v3 arenas. Find partners through the in-game group finder or communities.

A rating of 2400 is a serious goal. Fewer than 1% of players reach Elite rank. If you are aiming for it, dedicate time to studying your specialization, arena strategies, and match analysis.

Elite gear is a bonus along the way. On the road to the gladiator mount you will earn elite PvP gear with a unique appearance, which is also tied to the season.
