Dreambinder — Transmog Set Guide

Dreambinder is a two-handed staff from the Ulduar raid and one of the most recognizable "nature" weapon appearances in World of Warcraft. Its head is shaped like an open golden-green flower scattered with shimmering leaves, while living shoots wind along the shaft — the look directly references Freya, the keeper of life.

This is a staff with agility stats, so it was originally intended for druids, hunters, and monks, but the model is prized for transmog far beyond those classes. The warm glow and botanical theme make Dreambinder a benchmark choice for druidic and any "nature" themed looks.

The appearance drops in the Ulduar raid, in the 25-player setup, from two sources.

• The main source is Freya. The staff drops from her reward only in the hard mode of the fight: all three Elders must be kept alive until the end of the encounter.
• The additional source is Algalon the Observer. The raid's hidden boss can also grant this appearance.
• Difficulty: classic 25-player Ulduar. This appearance does not drop on the 10-player version.
• Limit: one kill of each boss per week per character, so attempts are restricted by the weekly reset.

Freya's hard mode is activated by not destroying the three Elders before the fight with her, instead leaving them and battling them all at once. Today the raid is outdated by many expansions and can be soloed, so keeping the Elders alive and killing Freya solo is not difficult — the key is to remember that without them the reward with the appearance will not drop.
