Overview

Eirich's Fist of Deception

Eirich's Fist of Deception is an epic one-handed agility fist weapon added to World of Warcraft in The War Within expansion. The model sticks to the earthen titanic style of the Khaz Algar dungeons: a compact stone-and-turquoise knuckleduster with faceted inlays and a cold Void glow along its edges. Its silhouette is recognizable thanks to the restrained blue-gray palette shared by weapons from the earthen dungeons.

This is a melee weapon for agility specializations, so it is wielded in transmog by rogues, monks, druids, shamans, hunters, and demon hunters. The base item level is 74, and level 80 is required to use it; the item becomes soulbound on pickup. In addition to agility and stamina, the weapon carries critical strike and haste rating.

Source

Eirich's Fist of Deception drops from Void Speaker Eirich, the final boss of The Stonevault dungeon. The dungeon is located in the Hallowfall Deeps, an underground region of Khaz Algar.

  • The source is the fourth and final boss of the dungeon.
  • In the journal the encounter is listed as Speaker Eirich; over the course of the fight he succumbs to corruption and transforms into Void Speaker Eirich, who is the one that drops the weapon.
  • The drop chance is around 5.15% according to Wowhead.
  • The appearance can be farmed on any difficulty: Normal, Heroic, Mythic, and Mythic+, when the dungeon is in the keystone rotation.
  • The dungeon is run by a group of five players, and the final boss can be re-run with no weekly limit.
  • Kill progress is tracked by the achievements Void Speaker Eirich (Normal The Stonevault) and Void Speaker Eirich (Mythic The Stonevault).

Who it suits visually

  • It pairs with sets in a cold blue-gray and turquoise palette — for example, with armor from the Khaz Algar dungeons of the same expansion.
  • It harmonizes with titanic and earthen aesthetics: mail and plate sets with runic engraving and stone elements.
  • It contrasts with dark leather sets themed around the Void — a debatable but expressive accent thanks to the glow along the model's edges.
  • It reads well as a paired weapon for rogues and monks: the compact knuckleduster model does not obscure the strike animations.

Tips

1

To farm the appearance specifically, you do not need to go into Mythic+: Normal or Heroic difficulty through the dungeon finder, where attempts are unlimited, is enough.

2

Mythic+ speeds up runs and gives a higher item level, but that does not affect collecting the appearance — the look is identical on all difficulties.

3

The final boss does not drop the weapon from a mid-dungeon entry: you need to clear the dungeon up to the fourth boss every time.

4

Besides this knuckleduster, Void Speaker Eirich also drops other agility and intellect gear, so the run is useful for other specializations in the group as well.

5

Once the item has been obtained and added to the appearance collection, the look is unlocked account-wide and you no longer need to farm it.

6

For fast farming, take classes with high mobility and area damage — clearing the five-player dungeon takes only a few minutes.

Started playing back in Pandaria, when the pandaren were still a novelty. Got stuck on Monk because it's the only class where you don't get dizzy after a dash. Tries to manage both tanking and kicking enemies in the face.
