Get Elethium-Bladed Glaive
Overview

Elethium-Bladed Glaive is a one-handed paired demon hunter blade added to World of Warcraft in patch 9.1.0 of the Shadowlands expansion. The weapon embraces the grim aesthetic of the Sanctum of Domination raid: a dark metal blade curved like a predatory sickle, with a cold blue-teal glow of anima sliding along its cutting edge. The jagged hilt echoes the chains and spikes that run throughout the entire first raid tier.
Only demon hunters wield the glaive — they are the sole class that uses paired blades. For the appearance to be added to your collection, you must obtain the item specifically on a demon hunter character.
Source
The appearance drops in the Sanctum of Domination raid from the very first boss — The Tarragrue.
- Boss: The Tarragrue, the first and most accessible enemy in the raid — reaching it takes less than a minute.
- Difficulties: Looking for Raid, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic; the appearance is identical on all four.
- Loot type: personal, with a weekly lockout tracked separately for each difficulty.
- Clearing: at the current level the raid can be soloed, no group required.
Visual Fit
- Complements dark demon hunter looks in the Maw aesthetic: the black metal and the cold anima of the blade reinforce the overall grim tone.
- Harmonizes with armor in blue-steel tones — the teal glow of the glaive sets the accent color for the whole set.
- Sets off fel-fire sets: the cold teal contrasts with green and orange elements, a debatable but striking choice.
- Having identical paired blades in both hands strengthens a cohesive dual-wield silhouette.
Tips
Collect the appearance on a demon hunter — only this class wields paired blades and adds them to the collection.
The raid can be run once a week on each difficulty; pick the one you clear fastest, the appearance reward is the same.
The Tarragrue stands at the very start of the raid, so a farm run for the glaive takes literally a couple of minutes.
If the glaive does not drop, try again the following week or run several difficulties at once.
Other weapon appearances also drop from The Tarragrue — check all of the boss's loot, not just the glaive.
At the current level the boss dies in a few hits, so you can farm without any preparation or buffs.
