Endmire Flyer Tether

Endmire Flyer Tether is a flying devourer mount added to World of Warcraft in the Shadowlands expansion (patch 9.0.1). Using the item teaches the spell Endmire Flyer, after which the mount is unlocked account-wide.

Visually, it is a winged anima devourer — one of those that drifted into Revendreth through uncharted portals. The item description reads: winged devourers appear through portals whose nature is almost entirely unknown, and they have settled in the Endmire, feeding on latent anima.

The mount drops from the rare Famu the Infinite in the Endmire subzone in the western part of Revendreth. The drop chance is around 0.9%. The loot is tied to the daily reset: one attempt per character per day.

• Unique model — Famu and his fellow devourers look unusual even by Shadowlands standards: a winged monster with a floating carcass made of dark anima. It stands out in your collection among the standard dragons and flying beasts
• No covenant requirement — the mount drops regardless of your covenant choice in Shadowlands. All you need is to reach Revendreth
• Account-wide access — after the first acquisition, the tether teaches the summon spell to every character on your account, including both factions
• Flying — it works in every location where flying is allowed
• Daily farm with no weekly cap — unlike many raid mounts, there is no weekly lockout here. One attempt per day is guaranteed if Famu is ready to be summoned
• Outdated content — at the level 90 cap in Midnight, the Endmire event is trivial, especially in a small group. The daily routine takes about five minutes

The main path is a daily visit to the Endmire, launching the event at Seeker Hilda, clearing waves of devourers, fighting Famu the Infinite, and checking the loot.

1. Unlock access to Revendreth in Shadowlands. If you have gone through the Shadowlands story line at least once, Revendreth is already unlocked. If not, start the expansion's intro campaign through the portal in Oribos
2. Travel to the Darkhaven flight point in central Revendreth — it usually opens first
3. Fly west toward the Endmire subzone. Use the area west of the Halls of Atonement as a landmark
4. Find the NPC Seeker Hilda at the edge of the rift. If she has a special line of dialogue available, the event is ready to launch; if not, Famu is on cooldown — come back the next day
5. Start the dialogue and choose the option to launch the event. Waves of devourers will pour out of the rift — destroy them
6. After two or three waves, Famu the Infinite will emerge from the rift. Defeat him
7. Collect the loot. With luck, the Endmire Flyer Tether will drop from the corpse. Use the item to add the mount to your collection

The Endmire is a small subzone in the western part of Revendreth. Landmarks:

1. Land at Darkhaven — the central hub of Revendreth, tied to the story campaign
2. Open the Revendreth map and find the western area labeled "The Endmire"
3. Use the Halls of Atonement (the dungeon) as a guide — the Endmire lies west of the dungeon entrance
4. Seeker Hilda and the rift from which Famu is summoned are in the central part of the subzone, by a dark pool of water

The event consists of two stages: clearing waves of devourers and fighting Famu himself.

Stage 1. Waves of devourers

After the dialogue with Seeker Hilda, anima devourers begin to emerge from the rift — 2-3 waves. They are weak but numerous. At the level 90 cap they are killed in groups with area attacks.

Stage 2. The fight against Famu

When the last wave is destroyed, Famu the Infinite appears from the rift. His stats and abilities:

• Hungering Void — a single-target attack that deals Shadow damage
• Consuming Void — an area beneath Famu that deals Shadow damage to anyone standing in it. Move away
• Weakened Soul — a stacking debuff from the surroundings of the Endmire. It increases Shadow damage taken. In a long fight the stacks grow and your character becomes fragile

At the launch of Shadowlands, the fight was considered hard to solo because of the "Weakened Soul" debuff and Famu's sizable health pool. At the current expansion's cap (90), Famu is killed in 1-2 minutes by a single player of any class with fresh gear. If you have just leveled up and your gear is weak, bring a partner or join a group search through the LFG channel.

Daily routine

Famu the Infinite is a daily rare enemy. The loot lock resets together with daily quests (in Europe at 7:00 a.m., in North America at 7:00 a.m. server time).

1. Log in after the daily reset
2. Teleport to Revendreth — through Oribos or via a hearthstone to Darkhaven
3. Fly to the event spot in the Endmire (2-3 minutes on a fast mount)
4. Check whether the launch line is available from Seeker Hilda
5. Start the event, clear the waves, finish off Famu
6. Check the loot. If there is no tether, come back the next day

The full cycle takes 5-7 minutes if Famu is already ready to be summoned. It fits perfectly into a daily round of Revendreth rares.

Multi-farming on alts

A drop chance around 0.9% means that on average more than 100 attempts are needed. Bringing in alts sharply speeds up the farm:

• The Shadowlands story campaign on an alt unlocks Revendreth in about an hour
• Each character with access to the Endmire is a separate chance per day
• If you have 5 alts with the zone unlocked, the expected time to a drop is cut by a factor of 5

The mount is account-wide — as soon as one character picks up the tether, it teaches the summon spell to all of them

Expectation calculation

With a 0.9% chance and one attempt per day:

• 50% of players get the mount in about 77 days
• 90% of players get the mount in about 255 days
• 1% of players may get it on the very first day

If you farm on 3 alts, these timelines are divided by 3. On 5 alts, by 5. This is a typical distribution for Shadowlands mounts with a daily reset.

Best classes for fast farming

There is no exact speed metric — the event is short, and any specialization with good damage handles it. Practical options:

• Balance Druid or Demon Hunter — strong area damage speeds up clearing the waves of devourers
• Retribution Paladin — resilient to the "Weakened Soul" debuff thanks to high self-healing
• Fire Mage or Destruction Warlock — finish off Famu quickly at long range, minimizing time spent in "Consuming Void"
