Get Galactic Aspirant's Staff

The Galactic Aspirant's Staff is a two-handed staff from Midnight's entry-level PvP set. It is a weapon for Intellect-using specializations: priests, mages, warlocks, druids, shamans and monks. The staff has bonuses to Intellect, Stamina, Haste and Versatility.

The "Galactic Aspirant" epithet is the entry-level, unrated tier of the season's PvP rewards. The staff is introduced with the Midnight expansion as part of the first PvP season and requires level 90.

The staff is purchased with Honor — the currency of unrated PvP. No arena rating is required for the purchase; it is enough to play random battlegrounds, skirmishes and War Mode events.

• The vendor is Captain Dawnrunner, the Honor quartermaster.
• Location — Silvermoon, the PvP trade hub on the western side of Falconwing Square. A handy waypoint: /way #2393 34.66 81.10.
• Honor is earned in random and epic battlegrounds, skirmishes and War Mode events.
• The purchase is not gated by rating and has no attempt limit — you can put the set together in the first days of the season.

There is also a second route — crafting through professions. For it, you buy Galactic Aspirant's Heraldry from the same Captain Dawnrunner (and from the reagent vendor) for 175 Honor each; one item usually takes from three to five of these reagents. The appearance of the crafted weapon matches the purchased one, so for transmog it is easier to just grab the ready-made staff for Honor.

• It suits looks in the blood elf and Silvermoon aesthetic thanks to the dark purple color scheme of the head.
