Galactic Gladiator's Goredrake — How to Get the Mount

Galactic Gladiator's Goredrake — an exclusive flying mount obtainable only by earning the Gladiator title in PvP Season 1 of the Midnight expansion. It is a massive goredrake clad in armor and infused with Void energy. Once the season ends, the mount will become permanently unavailable — it will never return in the shop or in future seasons.

The Galactic Gladiator's Goredrake is one of the rarest and most prestigious mounts in the game. Only players in the absolute top of the PvP ladder can obtain it. In addition to the mount itself, you will receive:

• Achievement Gladiator: Midnight Season 1 (Feat of Strength)
• Achievement Galactic Gladiator: Midnight Season 1 (Feat of Strength)
• The title Galactic Gladiator displayed before your character's name

This mount and title are direct proof of your arena mastery and one of the ultimate status symbols in World of Warcraft.

To obtain the Goredrake you must complete the achievement Gladiator: Midnight Season 1. The conditions are as follows:

Important: all 50 wins must be earned after reaching the 2400 mark. Wins accumulated on the way to that rating do not count.

1. Assemble a 3v3 Arena team. Find two reliable partners you can play with regularly. Use the in-game Group Finder, Discord communities, or forums to find teammates.

2. Push your rating to 2400. Start playing rated 3v3 matches. Along the way you will progress through the ranks:

   • Combatant I (1000) and Combatant II (1200)
   • Challenger I (1400) and Challenger II (1600)
   • Rival I (1800) and Rival II (1950)
   • Duelist (2100)
   • Elite (2300)
   • Gladiator (2400)

3. Win 50 games at 2400+ rating. Once you hit 2400, the win counter begins. You can track your progress in the Achievements tab. If your rating drops below 2400, new wins will not count — you must climb back first.

4. Claim your reward. After the 50th win, the achievement completes automatically. The mount, title, and both Feats of Strength appear immediately.

Midnight PvP Season 1 started on March 17, 2026. The exact end date has not been announced yet, but first seasons typically last 4 to 6 months. Keep an eye on official Blizzard announcements so you don't miss the deadline.

The Midnight expansion launched on March 2, 2026 (early access — February 27, 2026).

Choose the right comp. Pick a composition that performs well at high ratings in the current meta. Check up-to-date tier lists for 3v3 Arena — class balance in Midnight has shifted significantly compared to The War Within.

Practice consistently. Play with your team on a regular basis. Random partners at 2400+ rating rarely work — you need synergy and familiarity with each other's habits.

Study matchups. At high ratings, the player who better understands the strengths and weaknesses of each composition wins. Record and review your matches.

Don't wait until the end of the season. Competition spikes near the season's end as many players rush to complete the achievement, making matches significantly harder. Start grinding your 50 wins as early as possible.

Gear up. Make sure your character is equipped with current PvP gear. In Midnight Season 1, the maximum Conquest item level is 289 and Honor item level is 276. The stat difference matters in arena.

If 2400 rating feels out of reach, Midnight Season 1 offers a more accessible PvP mount:

• Vicious Snaplizard — awarded for accumulating a set number of wins in any rated bracket at 1000+ rating. Separate versions for Alliance and Horde.
