High Priest's Lightsworn Seeker
Overview

Gift of the Holy Keepers is the item that teaches the Priest class mount
High Priest's Lightsworn Seeker. Added in patch 7.2 of the Legion expansion (March 2017), it is available exclusively to Priests. This is a flying mount that changes its coloration with your specialization: silvery-white for Discipline, gold for Holy, and dark purple for Shadow.
The item is awarded once — upon completing the final quest The Sunken Vault. This is one of the most atmospheric storylines in Legion: Magni Bronzebeard and Brann explore an ancient titan vault near the Maelstrom, and the Priest helps them solve the riddles of the keepers of Order.
In The War Within 11.1, the mount remains fully obtainable — the quests run normally at max level (80), and the collectible's value has only grown, because new characters no longer need to spend hours on the class campaign to unlock the final chain.
Why You Want This Mount
- A unique model for Priests only — the seeker reflects the essence of the class: glowing wings and three color variants tied to your specs. No other class will ever get this model
- Automatic recolor by spec — switch from Holy to Shadow and the mount instantly changes its look. Three visuals in one
- A flying mount — immediately usable for flight on the Broken Isles, in Draenor, Northrend, and all older zones with flying enabled
- Account-wide (Warband Mount) — once obtained, it appears in the collection of all your characters, but only a Priest can still summon it
- Strong collectible status — the mount is tied to the achievement Breaching the Tomb. The quest chain and scenario are part of the Legion story that many players skipped while rushing through the expansion
Requirements and Prerequisites
This is the main part of the guide: without meeting these conditions, the mount quest will not appear.
| Requirement | Description |
|---|---|
| Class | Priest only |
| Level | 45+ (technically) — at level 80 everything is cleared with ease |
| Achievement | Breaching the Tomb — the completed Broken Shore campaign |
| Class campaign | The fully completed Priest order hall storyline at the Netherlight Temple (unlocking flying in Legion) |
| Champions | Three level-110 class order hall champions with their gear level raised |
| Item level | Gear requirements in 2026 are nominal — the prerequisite is met simply by leveling your character to 80 through the main The War Within story |
What Counts Toward "Breaching the Tomb"
The achievement consists of 15 steps (Broken Shore quests and mini-achievements):
- Armies of Legionfall
- Vengeance Point
- Begin Construction
- Champions of Legionfall
- Mark of the Sentinax
- Intolerable Infestation
- Assault on Broken Shore
- Self-Fulfilling Prophecy
- Take Out the Head...
- Defending Broken Isles
- Relieved of Their Valuables
- and other related steps of the Legionfall campaign
After completing the final quest, the achievement is credited, and an exclamation mark for the start of the mount chain appears for the high priest/priestess at Deliverance Point.
How to Get It — Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Complete the Class and Legionfall Campaigns
If you have not done so yet — play through the Legion Priest story (Netherlight Temple, Broken Isles, Broken Shore). The campaign opens in the class order hall after the introductory quests at level 98+ (in 2026 everything scales to your level).
Step 2: Pick Up the Starter Quest
- Travel to the Broken Shore — take the portal to Dalaran (Broken Isles), then the portal to the Broken Shore from the main hall, or use the order hall hearthstone
- Head to Deliverance Point — the main Alliance and Horde camp on the Broken Shore
- Find the high priest/priestess standing next to the shore's quest givers. They will tell you that Magni Bronzebeard has arrived at the Netherlight Temple
- Accept the quest The Speaker Awaits
Step 3: The "Sunken Vault" Scenario
- Return to the class order hall Netherlight Temple
- Speak with Bethilde Deepanvil in the main hall — she will confirm Magni's discovery
- Head to Azsuna, to Brann Bronzebeard's submarine
- Begin the quest The Sunken Vault — this launches a solo scenario
- On the submarine, listen to the conversation between Magni and Brann — a purely story segment
- In the Darkened Cave, exit the submarine. Together with Magni, activate two control panels within a single time window
- Fight the vault keeper — with the Titans' constructs and defense mechanisms. At level 80 the boss is killed in 10–20 seconds, with no complex mechanics
- Watch the final cinematic — the Priest offers a prayer to the Light in the heart of the vault
- Turn in the quest and receive
Gift of the Holy Keepers along with the
Cache of Infinite Treasure
Step 4: Learn the Mount
Double-click the item
Gift of the Holy Keepers. The mount is unlocked in your collection and immediately appears in all three colors depending on your current specialization.
Mount Color Variants
The class mount changes its appearance in sync with your current specialization — there is no need to buy separate items.
| Specialization | Coloration | Look |
|---|---|---|
| Discipline | Silvery-white | Light armor, cold blue eyes |
| Holy | Gold | Warm golden sheen, wings in a halo |
| Shadow | Dark purple | Purple-black tint, dark aura |
Switch your specialization through your spellbook — the mount model will change in your very next summon. In patch 9.0.1 (Shadowlands), the icon in the mount journal stopped changing with specialization, but the visual in the world itself remained tied to the spec.
Tips and Nuances
- Check the achievement in advance — open the "Achievements → Broken Isles → Campaign" section and make sure Breaching the Tomb is complete. If not, the list of remaining steps will show you where to go
- The quest giver is easy to miss — the high priest/priestess at Deliverance Point appears only after the achievement is complete. If there is no exclamation mark, the Legionfall campaign is not finished
- The submarine is the scenario's starting point — next to it there is a teleport to previous steps in case you accidentally left the scenario. Just return to Brann and start again
- Easy without a group — the scenario is solo, and the boss at level 80 poses no threat. No consumables or buffs are needed
- If you already did the chain on an alt — unfortunately, each Priest completes the scenario individually. The mount is account-wide, but the quest itself is per character
- No more bugs — "The Sunken Vault" used to break in certain phases. In patch 10.0 the scenario was fully fixed and works reliably in The War Within
- After obtaining it —
Gift of the Holy Keepers can be opened right away or kept in your bags. The item binds on pickup and cannot be passed to another character
Why Go for This Mount in 2026
The chain takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on how much you have already done. For a player who had a Priest back in Legion, it's 15 minutes of pure time. For a brand-new, recently leveled Priest, it's a day or two for the full Legionfall story.
In return, you get a mount tied to a rare mechanic (visual change by spec), a story arc featuring Magni and Brann, and one of the most recognizable looks of the Priest class. This is one of the last chances to feel Legion from the inside — new players increasingly skip this expansion, while class mounts will forever remain its calling card.
