Gilded Prowler
Overview

Gilded Prowler is a flying mount from the Shadowlands expansion. It is a larion — a winged predatory lion that inhabits the celestial fields of Bastion. The mount's model is larger than that of most other larions and stands out with its golden coloring.
The mount is purchased from a vendor for gold and requires Exalted reputation with the The Ascended faction. It was added to the game in patch 9.0.2 alongside the release of Shadowlands.

How to Reach the Vendor
The mount is sold by Adjutant Nikos, the Quartermaster of The Ascended. She is located in the Hero's Rest in Bastion. Coordinates: /way 52.2 47.1
An alternative vendor is Adjutant Mikaros, located in the Enclave in Oribos. He is more convenient if you are already in the capital of the Shadowlands.
To get to Bastion, use the portal from Oribos or fly there directly through the Shadowlands.
Step-by-Step Guide to Obtaining
Step 1 — Starting Your Reputation Grind
Reputation with The Ascended is earned through Bastion content. At the start, you will gain a significant portion of reputation by completing the Bastion story campaign. Complete all main quests — they grant reputation automatically.
Step 2 — World Quests
After finishing the campaign, the main source of reputation is world quests in Bastion:
- A standard quest grants +125 reputation
- A bonus quest grants +175 reputation
- New quests appear daily — check the Bastion map every day
Step 3 — Weekly Quests and Callings
Additional sources of reputation:
- Weekly quests in Oribos — 2 quests per week, each granting +500 reputation (for a total of +1,000 per week)
- Callings — daily envelope quests with rewards. Completing a Calling tied to Bastion reputation grants you +1,500 reputation
Step 4 — Contracts
Order a Contract: The Ascended from a Scribe. While the contract is active, every completed world quest in any Shadowlands zone brings an additional +10 reputation with The Ascended. It is a small amount, but it adds up to a noticeable bonus over dozens of quests.
Step 5 — Buying the Mount
Once your reputation reaches Exalted (42,000 points), purchase the mount for 30,000 gold and use the item — the mount will be added to your collection permanently on all characters.
Tips
Bonus events speed up the grind. During a World Quest Bonus Event you gain +50% reputation. The Darkmoon Faire grants +10%. Combine both bonuses for maximum speed.
Don't forget about Callings. They grant the largest single reputation bonus (+1,500). They appear once a day — complete them first.
The contract works in all zones. If you are simultaneously grinding reputation with other Shadowlands factions, the contract for The Ascended will passively add reputation for each quest.
Reputation in Shadowlands does not decay. You can grind it at your own pace — there are no time or season limits.
Estimated grind times. If you complete all available quests daily, the path from Neutral to Exalted takes about 3-4 weeks. If you start from Honored after the story campaign — roughly 2-3 weeks.
