Good Boy's Leash

Good Boy's Leash is a legendary ground mount added in patch 10.2.0 of the Dragonflight expansion. This item summons Taivan, a huge and incredibly good-natured bakar who became one of the most beloved characters of the Dragon Isles. The mount is a reward for completing the massive A World Awoken meta-achievement, which spans the entire content of the Dragonflight expansion.

Taivan has a unique running animation reminiscent of "power walking," and when you use the /mountspecial command he does the "zoomies" — joyfully tearing around in place. When summoned, the mount lets out a characteristic "awoo," emphasizing that Taivan really is a good boy. The mount journal description reads: "You don't have to be who the world wants you to be. Be who Taivan knows you can be."

• One of the rarest mounts — according to community data, fewer than 1% of players have met all the requirements to obtain Taivan. This is a mount that signals true dedication to Dragonflight content
• Unique model — Taivan is noticeably larger than ordinary bakars. He is the only bakar mount of this size in the game, and he is impossible to miss in a crowd
• Account-wide — once obtained, the mount is available on all characters on your account
• No time limit — the A World Awoken achievement is not tied to a season and can be completed at any time, including the current Midnight expansion
• Guaranteed acquisition — unlike mounts with a percentage drop chance, Taivan is guaranteed once you complete all the achievement requirements

To obtain the mount, you must complete the A World Awoken meta-achievement, which includes 14 major sub-achievements covering raids, dungeons, quests, reputation, world exploration, dragonriding and much more.

Main requirements:

• A level 70+ character (the content scales; at level 90 it goes significantly faster)
• Riding skill (Apprentice Riding)
• A significant amount of time — full completion can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months of active play

The A World Awoken meta-achievement requires completing the following 14 sub-achievements. Below they are grouped by category with a recommended completion order.

Raids and Dungeons

1. Vault of the Incarnates — clear all the raid's bosses on any difficulty. Raid Finder mode is allowed. At level 90 the raid is completed quickly, even solo.

2. Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible — likewise, all bosses on any difficulty. LFR is available through the group finder interface.

3. Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope — the final Dragonflight raid, all bosses on any difficulty.

4. Dragonflight Dungeon Myths — clear all 8 Dragonflight dungeons on Mythic difficulty (Mythic 0 or higher). Dungeon list:

• Brackenhide Hollow
• Halls of Infusion
• Neltharus
• The Azure Vault
• The Nokhud Offensive
• Ruby Life Pools
• Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr

Quests and Storylines

5. Loremaster of the Dragon Isles — complete all main storylines in the four zones: The Waking Shores, Ohn'ahran Plains, Azure Span and Thaldraszus. Each zone includes a main and a side quest chain.

6. Dragon Quests — complete additional quest chains, including:

• Restoration of the Blue Dragonflight
• The Dracthyr Uprising
• The Keeper of Tyr quest chain
• Baine's storyline in the Ohn'ahran Plains
• Daily quests at the Forbidden Reach (8 quests)

Reputation and Renown

7. Friend of the Dragon Isles — complete all quest lines unlocked through the Renown system.

8. Oh My, They Were Clutchmates — reach maximum Renown with all Dragonflight factions:

• Valdrakken Accord
• Iskaara Tuskarr
• Maruuk Centaur
• Dragonscale Expedition
• Artisan's Consortium
• Cobalt Assembly
• Friendship with Wrathion, Sabellian and Soridormi
• Learning the Winterpelt furbolg language

Exploration and Open World

9. Dragon Isles Pathfinder — reveal the map of all zones and meet the requirements to unlock flight on the Dragon Isles.

10. Across the Isles — complete a variety of open-world activities, including:

• The Grand Hunt
• The Community Feast
• Siege operations
• Storm events
• Time Rifts

11. You Know How to Reach Me — complete the achievements of the Forbidden Reach zone, including exploration, rare hunting and treasure finding.

12. Que Zara(lek), Zara(lek) — complete the Zaralek Cavern achievements: exploration, events and rare enemies.

13. Dream On — complete the content of the Emerald Dream zone added in patch 10.2.

Dragon Racing

14. Now THIS is Dragon Racing! — complete all dragon races on all difficulty levels (bronze, silver and gold) in every Dragon Isles zone.

1. Start with the story quests — complete all the main quest chains in the four zones. This simultaneously builds Renown, unlocks world quests and advances several achievements at once
2. Build Renown in parallel — complete world quests and weekly faction quests as they appear
3. Raids and dungeons — at level 90 the three Dragonflight raids can be cleared in one or two evenings. The dungeons on Mythic 0 take one more evening
4. Zone exploration — combine it with quest completion so you don't have to return to zones again
5. Dragon racing — set aside a separate evening to clear all the races. A gold result is required on every track
6. Finish off the remaining achievements — the Forbidden Reach, Zaralek Cavern and Emerald Dream

Tracking Progress

Open the achievements tab in game (the Y key), find the A World Awoken achievement and track progress on each sub-achievement. Unfinished criteria will be greyed out.

Account-Wide Progress

Most achievements are credited account-wide. You can complete quests and explore zones on different characters, and the progress will accumulate. The exceptions are raids and dungeons, which require completion on a single character.

Speeding Up Reputation Farming

• Use the Darkmoon Faire buff WHEE! (+10% reputation for 60 minutes) before completing quests
• Combine farming with the bonus event weeks for world quests (+50% reputation)
• Don't forget faction insignias from command table missions

Efficiency at Level 90

At max level in Midnight, all Dragonflight content goes by significantly faster:

• Raids can be done solo or in a small group
• Rare enemies are killed in seconds
• World quests are completed instantly
• Mythic 0 dungeons pose no challenge
