Grand Magister's Staff of Torrents is a two-handed staff of epic quality for intellect-using classes. It is an elegant weapon styled after the high blood elf magisters: a slender shaft crowned with a finial holding a shimmering blue crystal, with side scrollwork in Silvermoon's signature gold-and-azure palette. The staff looks "magisterial" in the literal sense — it evokes the image of Kael'thas's court sorcerers.

The weapon debuted in The Burning Crusade expansion and was intended for casters: it grants a solid boost to intellect. For transmog, the staff is prized for its clean elven silhouette and cool blue-and-gold palette, which pairs well with arcane-themed mage, priest, and warlock looks.

The staff drops from Felmyst — one of the bosses in the Sunwell Plateau raid. This raid is located on the Isle of Quel'Danas and was added in The Burning Crusade expansion.
