Hand of Reshkigaal

Hand of Reshkigaal is an epic ground mount added in patch 11.0.0 of the The War Within expansion. It is a creepy severed hand of an ash-gray hue that moves across the ground on its fingers like a spider. The mount is purchased at the Trading Post for 750 Trader's Tender.

The Hand of Reshkigaal model belongs to the family of hand mounts, which also includes the Hand of Nilganihmaht (golden), the Hand of Bahmethra (purple), the Hand of Hrestimorak (blue), and the Hand of Salaranga (black). The Hand of Reshkigaal stands out among them with its cold gray coloring, which perfectly suits themed outfits of a necromancer or a dark warlock.

The mount has a unique special-ability animation — when you use the /mountspecial command, the hand acts out the gestures of Rock, Paper, Scissors. This is a rare feature among WoW mounts.

• Suits dark outfits — the ash-gray hue of the mount pairs well with the transmog of Shadow priests, warlocks, and death knights

1. Make sure your character has access to the Trading Post. It is located in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, or Silvermoon
2. Save up 750 Trader's Tender. The coins are awarded monthly and do not expire — more details in the section below
3. Wait for a month in which the Hand of Reshkigaal appears in the Trading Post's stock. Items rotate every month. The mount was available in October 2024, October 2025, and February 2026
4. Visit the Trading Post and purchase the Hand of Reshkigaal for 750 Trader's Tender
5. Use the obtained item — the mount will be added to your mount journal and become available on all characters of your account

To purchase the Hand of Reshkigaal you will need 750 Trader's Tender. That is slightly more than the standard monthly income, so it is important to complete the tasks of the Traveler's Log.

Monthly bonus (500 Trader's Tender)

Each month, on your first visit to the Trading Post, you can claim 500 Trader's Tender from the collector's chest. This amount is awarded automatically; you only need to enter the shop and open the chest.

Traveler's Log (up to 500 Trader's Tender)

The Traveler's Log offers monthly tasks: clearing dungeons, participating in battlegrounds, completing quests, killing rare mobs, and other activities. Fully filling the Traveler's Log bar for the month grants up to 500 additional Trader's Tender.

Thus, by completing all the Traveler's Log tasks and claiming the monthly bonus, you will receive 1,000 Trader's Tender in a single month — that is enough to purchase the Hand of Reshkigaal with some left over for other items.

First-visit bonus (500 Trader's Tender)

If you have never visited the Trading Post before, on your first visit you will receive a one-time bonus of 500 Trader's Tender — in addition to the monthly ones.

Accumulation

Trader's Tender does not expire at the end of the month. If you do not manage to save up 750 Trader's Tender in one month, keep saving the next. The main thing is not to miss the rotation month when the Hand of Reshkigaal appears in the stock again.

Stormwind (Alliance)

The Trading Post is located next to the Mage Quarter, near the Stockade.

Orgrimmar (Horde)

The Trading Post is located in the Valley of Strength, to the left of the entrance to Grommash Hold.

The Trading Post's stock refreshes on the first day of each month. The Hand of Reshkigaal goes on sale periodically — not every month. History of the mount's appearances:

• October 2024 — first appearance as part of the "Light and Dark" season
• October 2025 — repeat appearance in the themed autumn stock
• February 2026 — third appearance in the stock of the anniversary Trading Post

If the mount is absent in the current month, all that remains is to wait for the next rotation. Blizzard announces the Trading Post lineup in advance on the official site and on social media.

Based on observations, the Hand of Reshkigaal appears in themed "dark" rotations — the October ones (tied to Halloween and the Hallow's End festival) and the anniversary February one. The mount will most likely return in one of these months in the future.
