Get Hate-Sculpted Magma

Hate-Sculpted Magma is a massive two-handed axe with a red-hot magmatic aesthetic. Its broad double blade looks as if it was cast from cooling lava: crimson-orange cracks run across the dark metal, and the edge glows as though it had just been pulled from a blacksmith's forge. The model is built on the silhouette of the "fiery" two-handed axes of the Draenor era and conveys the theme of molten stone and subterranean heat very well.

The axe drops from the final boss of the Neltharion's Lair dungeon in Highmountain.

• The loot is crushed and dropped by Dargrul, the Underking — the dungeon's last boss, who wields the power of the Hammer of Khaz'goroth.
• The listed drop chance is very low — around 0.05%, so farming is built around many repeated runs.
• The axe used to drop only on Mythic+, but since patch 11.0.2 it drops on all dungeon difficulties.
• The dungeon can be soloed at level 90 in Midnight in a few minutes, with no limit on the number of attempts for Normal and Heroic modes.
• Each run grants only a single chance at the drop from Dargrul, so for regular farming it makes sense to reset and restart the dungeon.

Neltharion's Lair is located in Highmountain on the Broken Isles: the most convenient way to get there is via a teleport from the dungeon finder or directly through the Broken Isles map.

• It fits fire- and lava-themed looks — the crimson-orange glow of the blade matches the palette of "fiery" plate sets.
• It harmonizes with dark armor that has red-hot or smoldering inserts — for example, sets in the style of dwarven smiths or fire cults.
• It works well in an Earth elemental shaman or warrior concept thanks to the reference to subterranean heat and the Hammer of Khaz'goroth.
