Hateforged Blazecycle
Overview

The
Hateforged Blazecycle is an uncommon ground motorcycle mount added to World of Warcraft in patch 11.0.5 of The War Within expansion (October 2024). It is a flame-wreathed demonic motorcycle with burning wheels and an infernal exhaust system, visually reminiscent of the machinery of the Burning Legion.
The mount was a reward from a cross-promotion between Blizzard and Mountain Dew Gaming, which ran from November 4, 2024, to January 31, 2025, in the United States. By purchasing Mountain Dew, Doritos, and Rockstar Energy Drink products, players accumulated points on the MTN Dew Gaming Program portal and then exchanged them for a Battle.net redemption code. The Blazecycle cost 600 points.
After the promotion ended, the mount became unavailable, but it was found in the PTR builds of patch 12.0.5 with a price of 500 Trader's Tender, indicating a possible return through the Trading Post.
Why you want this mount
- Unique motorcycle model — a blazing demonic bike with detailed animations for the exhaust, brakes, and turns. To date, the collection contains only a handful of motorcycles of this class
- Full ground movement speed — the mount gains +60% or +100% speed depending on your riding skill, meaning it travels at the maximum speed among ground vehicles
- Available account-wide — once the code is redeemed, the mount is unlocked on every character on your account, regardless of faction, race, or class
- Added to shared achievements — it counts toward all shared mount collection achievements
- Unique collector status — since the Mountain Dew promotion has ended, the mount has become a rarity and highlights the status of an experienced collector
How to obtain
As of April 2026, there are no legitimate in-game methods of obtaining it — the promotion ended on January 31, 2025. Only two paths are available.
- Searching for unused codes. Some codes remained with promotion participants and occasionally appear on the secondary market. The code is a Battle.net key that is redeemed in the "Redeem a Code" section on the battle.net website or in the desktop app
- Waiting for a return through the Trading Post. On the PTR of patch 12.0.5, the
Hateforged Blazecycle was found in the Trading Post catalog with a price of 500 Trader's Tender. The exact date of its appearance in the game has not yet been confirmed by Blizzard
Redeeming a code on Battle.net
- Open the battle.net website and log in to your account
- Go to the "Redeem a Code" section or open it through the Battle.net menu in the desktop app
- Enter the 16-character code received by email from the MTN Dew Gaming Program
- Confirm the redemption — a gift will appear on the linked account
- Log in to World of Warcraft on any character
- Open the mailbox or the mount collection — the
Hateforged Blazecycle will be added to your collection automatically
Regional restrictions and redemption in the CIS
The promotion officially ran only within the United States, but the Battle.net redemption codes themselves have no regional lock. According to players on the Blizzard forums, the keys were successfully redeemed on EU and KR accounts. If you still have a code card or received one from a promotion participant, the mount can be added to any Battle.net account.
Return through the Trading Post — what is known
In late March 2026, dataminers discovered several previously unavailable promo rewards added to the Trading Post catalog in the PTR data of patch 12.0.5.
There has been no official announcement from Blizzard yet — PTR data is subject to change. Nevertheless, the appearance of the mount in the catalog gives a real chance to obtain it without searching for promo codes on the secondary market.
Tips
Check old emails — if you participated in the promotion and received a code by email but forgot to redeem it, look for messages from the MTN Dew Gaming Program or Battle.net Gift
Don't buy codes from unverified sellers — the promo code market is full of scammers. If you decide to buy, choose major marketplaces with buyer protection
Keep an eye on Trading Post updates — after the release of patch 12.0.5, check the monthly Trading Post catalog
Stockpile Trader's Tender in advance — the standard limit is 1000 tender per month through monthly tasks. If the mount really does appear in the shop for 500 tender, you'll be able to buy it in the very first month
Don't expect a flying form — the motorcycle is strictly ground-based, like all mounts of this model. No flight animation is provided
Complete the alternative motorcycles — while waiting for the Blazecycle's return, complete the quest chain for
Incognitro, the Indecipherable Felcycle and try to assemble the
Voidfire Deathcycle. All three motorcycles provide a full set of color variations of the same model
