Heartrazor is a one-handed dagger of epic quality, added to World of Warcraft with The Burning Crusade expansion. It is a short blade with an aggressive silhouette: a dark hilt and a narrow, slightly curved blade that reads well on light and medium armor. The color scheme stays in dark steel and graphite tones without any bright glow, so the appearance fits equally well in formal and "shadowy" outfits.

The dagger occupies the one-handed weapon slot and suits any class able to wield daggers — rogues, druids, hunters, mages, priests, warlocks and shamans.

Thanks to its understated silhouette and neutral palette, Heartrazor remains one of the sought-after "classic" daggers in transmogrification collections and works well for role-playing a seasoned assassin or a stealthy fighter.

Heartrazor drops from one specific boss of a classic raid from The Burning Crusade era.

• The boss is High Astromancer Solarian, the third boss of the The Eye raid.
• The drop chance according to Wowhead is about 23 percent, meaning the dagger drops on average within a few runs.
• The raid difficulty is the original 25-player version from The Burning Crusade. At the maximum level of 90 the raid is easily cleared solo.
• The attempt limit is one run per week per character: after killing Solarian you can reach him again only after the weekly server reset.
• The dagger is bound to the character on pickup, but the appearance is added to the account-wide transmogrification collection after the first time you obtain it.

To get into the raid you need to reach the eastern part of Netherstorm. The entrance to The Eye is in the air, on the large central island of the citadel, so without a flying mount you will not be able to rise up to the door.

Solarian is the third boss in order, so before reaching him you need to kill the two previous bosses or carefully run past them. If the dagger did not drop, leave the raid, wait for the weekly reset and repeat the run.

Heartrazor has no known color recolors with their own item identifiers — it is a unique dagger model from The Burning Crusade. Look for similarly styled appearances from the same era among other epic raid daggers of that expansion.

Both of these daggers drop from bosses of The Burning Crusade era raids and are easily collected solo, so farming the Heartrazor appearance is convenient to combine with a run through the neighboring old raids.
