High Scholar's Grand Staff — Transmog Set Guide

High Scholar's Grand Staff is a two-handed staff of epic quality made entirely for transmogrification. It is a long ceremonial staff topped with an open tome and interwoven arcane ribbons, rendered in the purple-and-gold palette of the Kirin Tor. Its look evokes the image of a Dalaran scholar-mage: the model resembles the regalia of the high sorcerers of the violet city.

The item arrived in World of Warcraft during the Dragonflight expansion (patch 10.1.5, July 2023) as part of the "High Scholar" reward line. The flavor text underscores the theme of endless learning: "The eternal pursuit of arcane knowledge is its own reward."

The staff was designed as the companion weapon to the matching cloth set of the same name, so it neatly fills the two-handed weapon slot for mage, priest, and warlock looks built around arcane or scholarly aesthetics.

The High Scholar's Grand Staff is sold at the Trading Post for Trader's Tender. The item costs 500 tender.
