Hope Ender — Transmog Set Guide
Overview

Hope Ender is an epic-quality one-handed sword added to World of Warcraft with The Burning Crusade expansion. It is a compact blade with a wide, slightly curved edge and a dark hilt, finished in a strict metallic palette without any excessive glow — the weapon pairs easily with both heavy armor and light rogue outfits.
The sword uses the classic one-handed blade model of the Outland era. It looks equally fitting in the hands of a warrior, paladin, rogue, demon hunter, and other classes that wield one-handed swords, and it is often chosen precisely for its understated, "working" silhouette without flashy enchant effects.
Source
Hope Ender drops from Doom Lord Kazzak — a world boss who stands by the Throne of Kil'jaeden in the north of Hellfire Peninsula.
- This is an open-world boss, not a raid one — you do not need to enter a dungeon, he stands right out in the world.
- Kazzak respawns roughly once every few minutes after dying, so you usually don't have to wait long for him to appear.
- The item is bind-on-equip, so in theory you can get it through the auction house, but it's easier to farm it yourself.
- The sword's drop chance per attempt is low, so for transmog you often need to kill the boss several times.
- At the current Midnight max level, Kazzak is soloed in seconds, no group required.
Who it suits visually
- It matches dark Outland plate sets — for example, The Burning Crusade era armor sets in a gray-steel palette.
- It harmonizes with leather and mail sets in neutral tones thanks to its understated metallic finish without a bright enchant.
- It looks great paired with a shield or a second identical blade on warriors and paladins thanks to its compact size.
- It contrasts with bright, glowing sets — against them the sword looks restrained, which suits "realistic" mercenary or veteran looks.
Tips
The optimal farming method is to teleport or fly to the Throne of Kil'jaeden in the north of Hellfire Peninsula and kill Kazzak on every appearance.
At Midnight max level the boss poses no threat, so any class will do; for speed, classes with fast movement and strong burst damage are convenient.
Since Kazzak is a world boss, during player rushes he may be killed before you do — use layer transitions between game worlds to find a living boss.
The loot is bind-on-equip, so when extra copies drop you can sell them on the auction house instead of destroying them.
Check the boss's full loot table: in a single run you can get a chance at several epic transmog items at once.
If the sword takes a while to drop, don't despair — the short respawn time lets you farm Kazzak in series of many attempts in a row.
