Icy Ebon Warsword is a two-handed sword styled after the Ebon Blade. The blade is wrapped in an icy blue glow, its edge serrated and shimmering with frosty metal, tying it to death knight weaponry and the image of a frozen runic sword.

This is a death-knight-only appearance: the item requires that class, so you cannot equip it on a warrior or paladin. The sword debuted in the Legion expansion and still remains one of the most striking "icy" two-handers for transmog thanks to its cold blue-steel palette.

The sword does not drop from bosses — its appearance is unlocked by a special arsenal that is purchased with Broken Shore currency.

Nethershards are quick to farm these days: Legion content has long since become outdated, and the mobs and quests on the Broken Shore can be done solo, so you can gather 2000 currency in one or two runs.
