Get Imperial Quilen mount

Imperial Quilen is an epic ground-and-flying mount from the Mists of Pandaria expansion. It is a gilded stone guardian shaped like a quilen lion, created with the ancient magic of the mogu. While flying, the mount sprouts spectral jade wings — a unique animation that sets it apart from other mounts.

The Imperial Quilen was originally an exclusive reward for purchasing the Collector's Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition of Mists of Pandaria. Since June 30, 2020, the mount has been available to everyone in the Battle.net Shop.

Mount journal description: "Quilen — the beloved pets of the ancient mogu princes — are devoted and fearless companions and mounts."

To make the purchase, open the Battle.net Shop on the shop.battle.net website or through the in-game shop (the button in the game menu). The mount will appear in the collection of all characters immediately after payment.

There are two ways to obtain the Imperial Quilen: through the Battle.net Shop on the website or through the in-game shop.

Method 1: Battle.net Shop (Website)

1. Go to the mount page in the Battle.net Shop
2. Make sure you are logged into the correct account
3. Click "Buy" and complete the payment
4. The mount will instantly appear in the mount journal of all characters on your account

Method 2: In-Game Shop

1. Log into the game with any character
2. Open the game menu (Escape key) and select "Shop"
3. Go to the "Mounts" section
4. Find the Imperial Quilen and click "Buy"
5. Confirm the payment — the mount will appear in your collection right away

Method 3: Via WoW Tokens (No Real Money)

1. Buy 2 WoW Tokens on the auction house for gold
2. Convert each token into Battle.net balance (15 USD each, 30 USD total)
3. Use the accumulated balance to buy the mount in the shop
4. The remaining 5 USD will come in handy for future purchases

Since the Imperial Quilen is purchased with real money or Battle.net balance, classic farming does not apply here. However, there are ways to save:

• Wait for a sale — Blizzard runs summer and winter sales during which shop mounts are sold at discounts of up to 50%. The lowest recorded price is 12.50 USD
• Use WoW Tokens — if you have enough gold, buying two tokens on the auction house lets you get the mount without spending real money
• Check bundles — sometimes the mount is included in promotional bundles alongside other items at a reduced price
• Watch for deals on third-party platforms — authorized retailers sometimes offer discounted Battle.net keys
