Incarnate Sky-Splitter — Transmog Set Guide

Incarnate Sky-Splitter is an epic two-handed axe added to World of Warcraft with the Dragonflight expansion (the first raid season). This massive weapon belongs to the primalist set: the axe head is assembled from cracked plates that look as if they were torn apart by lightning, and a red-hot magma edge shows through along the rim of the blade. The two halves of the poll fold into an open dragon's maw, making the axe look less like a forged item and more like a frozen predatory beast.

The weapon follows the general primalist theme of the Vault of the Incarnates — the same stormy, "thunderous" styling as the raid's armor. In character, the model is heavy and aggressive, with an emphasis on strength: the axe is meant for plate-wearing classes that use Strength as their primary stat — Warriors, Paladins, and Death Knights.

The item has a single appearance with four shades across the difficulty levels — from a muted tone on Raid Finder to the richest and most contrasting on the Mythic variant.

The axe drops from the final boss of the Vault of the Incarnates raid — Raszageth. This is the first raid of the Dragonflight expansion.

• The drop source is the raid's last boss, Raszageth. There are no other ways to obtain the axe.
• All four difficulties are available: Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic. Each difficulty gives its own shade of the same model.
• In patch 12.0.1, legacy loot rules were enabled for Dragonflight raids and dungeons: bosses drop the full loot set even when entering solo, and class restrictions are lifted. This means the axe can be farmed for transmog on any character, even if it physically cannot wield two-handed axes.
• The limit is one entry per week for each difficulty (a shared raid lockout). To improve your chances of a drop within a week, it makes sense to run for the axe on several difficulties at once.
• Blizzard does not publish the exact drop rate for this specific weapon: loot is distributed across the boss's table among all participants. In solo mode with legacy loot, a single kill drops loot for an entire group, which noticeably speeds up the farm.
• The raid is located in eastern Thaldraszus, near the Tyrhold complex. The easiest way to get there is from the city of Valdrakken: through the Seat of the Aspects and the portal pad, you reach the platform in front of the raid entrance. To fly to the entrance itself, you need unlocked Dragonriding.

• The axe is designed as a pair for the plate sets from the same raid: the Warrior set Stones of the Walking Mountain, the Paladin set Argent Aspirant's Armor, and the Death Knight set Lingering Phantom's Encasement — the unified primalist theme creates a cohesive look.
• The red-hot magma edge and dark plates make the axe a great match for fiery and "volcanic" sets: plate with orange-red accents picks up the glow of the blade.
• The dragon's maw on the poll works with any dragon-themed look — from scaled armor to Dragonflight expansion sets.
• It looks striking with cold, silvery-blue plate: the axe becomes the only warm spot and draws the eye.
• The model's dark base also lets you fit the axe into grim Death Knight looks, where the magma edge reads as a sinister glow.
