Overview

Infinite Dragonspire

Game iconInfinite Dragonspire is a two-handed staff with a drakonid-style model, added to World of Warcraft in the Dragonflight expansion (patch 10.0.2). The model uses the distinctive silhouette of drakonid weaponry: a massive shaft topped with a finial that echoes the theme of infinite dragons and distorted time.

This is a staff with no class restriction: the appearance is available to any specialization that wields staves — mages, priests, warlocks, shamans, druids, monks, and demon hunters. The look is added to your transmog collection the moment you obtain the item.

The staff is thematically tied to the Infinite Dragonflight and the dungeon's time-travel storyline, so it works well in outfits that play on the themes of chaos, time, and draconic power.

Source

The appearance is obtained from the Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr dungeon — a Dragonflight dungeon located in the Badlands on the Eastern Kingdoms continent.

  • The staff drops from the dungeon's final boss — Chrono-Lord Deios.
  • All difficulties are available: Normal, Heroic, Mythic, and Mythic+, and the item can drop from the final boss in any of them.
  • This is a random drop from the boss's loot table; there is no guaranteed drop.
  • There is no limit on the number of attempts: you can rerun the dungeon as many times as you like to land the appearance you want.
  • On the current patch the dungeon clears easily solo, which makes farming the appearance fast and convenient.

Who It Suits Visually

  • Suits outfits built around the themes of time, chaos, and infinite dragons — in the spirit of the Dragonflight storyline.
  • Pairs well with plate and leather sets in dark bronze-and-black tones that echo the drakonid color palette.
  • Looks great in mage and shaman outfits where you want an imposing two-handed staff with an aggressive silhouette.
  • Contrasts with light cloth sets — a debatable but striking combination for priests.

Tips

1

Run the dungeon on whatever difficulty suits you: the item's appearance is identical across all modes, so the easiest approach is to farm it solo on Normal.

2

Head straight for the final boss: the appearance only drops from Chrono-Lord Deios, and the intermediate bosses aren't needed for this goal.

3

For fast repeat runs, use classes with high mobility and strong self-healing — that way clearing to the final boss takes mere minutes.

4

Check the collection window after every drop: if the appearance is already learned, you can safely sell or disenchant the duplicate staff.

5

If you're also hunting other appearances from the dungeon, keep it in your weekly farming rotation alongside your other transmog goals.

6

Remember that this is a random drop: be patient and budget several runs to get the appearance you want.
