Iridal, the Earth's Master — Transmog Set Guide

Iridal, the Earth's Master is a two-handed staff of epic quality, added to World of Warcraft in the Dragonflight expansion alongside the Dawn of the Infinite megadungeon (patch 10.1.5). This weapon is specialized for Intellect, so it is carried by every spellcasting class: mages, warlocks, priests, shamans, druids, and evokers.

The staff has its own, easily recognizable model. The head is crafted in the draconic style of the dracthyr: a massive crystal in an earthy hue set in a stone frame, from which narrow, sharp facets fan out. The silhouette echoes the appearance of the primalist Iridikron, the embodiment of the earth element, after whom the staff is named.

Iridal, the Earth's Master drops in the Dawn of the Infinite dungeon, part of the bronze dragon megadungeon from Dragonflight, whose events unfold among the timeways.

• The drop source is Iridikron, one of the dungeon's bosses. He is a primalist, the embodiment of earth, who rejected the titans' gift.
• In the original Dragonflight, the dungeon could only be run on Mythic difficulty; later, patch 10.1.7 added a Heroic mode.
• In current Midnight content, the dungeon scales to level 90 and is easily soloed, so farming the appearance does not require a group.
• The staff's drop chance is low, as with any highly specialized item from a boss's shared loot table. Be prepared for several repeat runs.
• You do not need to defeat the dungeon's final boss, Chrono-Lord Deios, to obtain this staff — the drop you want stays with Iridikron.
