Overview

Пылающий клинок Ка'граз

Game iconKa'graz's Burning Blade is an epic two-handed sword from the Warlords of Draenor expansion. It is a massive blade in the Burning Blade clan style: a broad edge laced with veins of flame and a red-hot cutting edge, echoing the fiery forging theme of the Blackrock clan's Foundry.

The sword is wielded by all Strength-based specializations: warriors, paladins, and death knights. Thanks to its vivid fiery model, it remains one of the most eye-catching "flaming" two-handers of this period and is a perfect fit for fire- and elemental-themed looks.

Technically it is an item level 51 item with a level 40 requirement, but stats no longer matter today — the Warlords of Draenor content is long outdated, and the sword is interesting purely as a transmog.

Source

The sword drops from the boss Flamebender Ka'graz — a shaman of the Burning Blade clan and one of the bosses in the Blackrock Foundry raid in Gorgrond.

  • The drop chance is around 12.47% per kill, which is noticeably higher than the typical drop rate for transmog weapons.
  • The boss is located in the Slagworks wing, with the map marker at /way Blackrock Foundry 19.5 76.8.
  • The sword can be obtained on any raid difficulty, so it is most convenient to go in 25-player Normal or Mythic mode for the maximum number of attempts.
  • The item is bound on pickup, but the appearance is immediately added to your transmog collection and becomes available to all characters on the account.

Alternatives

This is a unique drop specifically from the boss Flamebender Ka'graz — the model has no recolors of its own in other colors. If you need a similar silhouette with fiery accents, take a look at other weapons from the same raid:

  • The other bosses of Blackrock Foundry drop weapons in the unified fiery-industrial style of the Blackrock clan and the Iron Horde.
  • For a contrasting look, death knight frost weapons work well — they create a strong visual contrast with the flames of this blade.

Visual Appeal

  • Ideal for fire-themed looks: fire mages at heart, berserker warriors, and retribution paladins with a flame theme.
  • It harmonizes with red-and-black and red-hot orange plate armor sets.
  • It looks great in sets featuring smoke, lava, and metal — the forge and Iron Horde theme.
  • It contrasts with bright "holy" paladin sets — a debatable but striking choice for a "fire templar" look.

Tips

1

The raid can be soloed on any class at level 90 — the boss mechanics have long ceased to be a threat.

2

The fastest way to farm is to run it once a week on several characters: the loot lock is personal, so alts increase the total number of attempts.

3

At a 12.47% chance, the sword often drops within 5-8 runs, but the drop is random — plan for several weeks of farming.

4

To reach the raid, teleport to Gorgrond and head to the entrance of Blackrock Foundry — the raid requires no separate attunement chain.

5

In a single visit you can kill all the raid bosses and collect the rest of the transmog from Blackrock Foundry along the way.

6

If you are specifically hunting for the appearance, choose the 25-player difficulty: more loot attempts for the same run.
