Kor'kron Warsaber

Kor'kron Warsaber is a ground nightsaber mount clad in orcish battle armor, added to World of Warcraft in patch 10.2.7 of the Dragonflight expansion (May 7, 2024). It is a rare nightsaber model reimagined in the style of the elite Kor'kron guard: spiked black chainmail, red straps, and metal plates bearing the Horde emblem. The item's flavor text explains its origin: "Upon discovering a litter of saber kittens, a band of Kor'kron riders trained them into a deadly pack of war beasts."

The mount is sold for Trader's Tender at the Trading Post, Blizzard's monthly cosmetic seasonal shop. The base price is 600 tender, but in February 2026 the mount was available at a discount for 300 tender as part of the anniversary month. The Kor'kron Warsaber went on sale in August 2024, August 2025, and February 2026, so expect it to return in a future rotation.

• Unique nightsaber model — the nightsaber, traditionally associated with night elves and the Alliance, is reworked in Horde style. Mounts with this coloring and harness are extremely rare in the collection
• Available to both factions — despite its Horde theme, the mount is sold in Orgrimmar, Stormwind, and Dornogal and suits both the Horde and the Alliance
• Budget price — 600 Trader's Tender can be gathered in one or two months of Trading Post activity. During promotional months the price drops to 300 tender
• Top speed — as a ground mount it grants +60% or +100% speed depending on your riding skill
• Single shared account — once purchased, the mount is bound to your battle group and automatically becomes available to every character on the account
• Cosmetic rarity — the Trading Post refreshes every month, and a missed mount returns only after many months. Each purchase secures a collection slot for a long time

The only way to get the mount is to purchase it at the Trading Post during a month when the Kor'kron Warsaber is part of the rotation.

1. Wait for a month in which the mount appears in the Trading Post inventory. The item list refreshes on the first of every month
2. Save up at least 600 Trader's Tender. If the month is promotional (like February 2026), 300 tender is enough
3. Head to one of the Trading Post vendors: in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, or Silvermoon City
4. Open the Trading Post interface (the coin icon to the left of the minimap or the icon above the vendor) and switch to the "Premium" tab
5. Find the Kor'kron Warsaber in the month's cosmetic item list
6. Confirm the purchase — the item lands in your inventory, and using it adds the mount to your collection

The Trading Post operates on a monthly rotation, and the Kor'kron Warsaber has already appeared for sale three times. If the mount is not in the current month, use the schedule of past rotations as a guide.

Blizzard does not announce rotations in advance — watch for Wowhead announcements and official news near the start of the month.

The Trading Post is represented by three sales points in the largest capitals. Any of them works for purchasing the Kor'kron Warsaber — the goods and prices are identical.

• Orgrimmar — Valley of Honor, next to the bank and auction house
• Stormwind City — Trade District, by the western entrance to the city
• Silvermoon City — the main capital of Midnight, the central trade square

The Trading Post interface has a preview button — you can inspect the mount on your character before buying.

Trader's Tender is the main Trading Post currency. It is added to a shared account wallet and spent on any character. You can collect up to 1,000 tender per month plus a monthly bonus.

1. Monthly visit — simply open the Trading Post and claim the chest from the vendor. The reward is 500 tender each month
2. Traveler's Log — complete tasks from the "Traveler's Log" tab. Each task gives 5 to 100 tender, for a total of up to 500 per month
3. Filling the full bar — completing the entire monthly reward bar grants additional cosmetics and locks in 500 "traveler's reward" tender
4. Seasonal events — during holidays Blizzard adds extra tasks for tender With regular activity, 600 tender is gathered in a single month without strain.

Together, the three variants make up the complete set of Kor'kron sabers.

The Kor'kron are the elite guard of the Horde's warchief. Originally Thrall's personal guard, under Garrosh Hellscream the Kor'kron became an instrument of tyrannical power and were deployed to Pandaria. After the events of the Siege of Orgrimmar in Mists of Pandaria, the Kor'kron were disbanded, though Sylvanas and Thrall later rebuilt individual units.

The Kor'kron riders, according to the mount's flavor text, found a litter of saber kittens and trained them into war beasts. This is a rare example of Horde warriors taming a traditionally "elven" beast.
