Lacerated Current Caster is an epic crossbow added to World of Warcraft with the The War Within expansion. The model leans into the raid's technological arcane-crystal aesthetic: a dark frame with energy veins and shards of frozen mana characteristic of the manaforge. This is a ranged agility weapon, so the look is especially sought after by hunters assembling themed seasonal sets.

The crossbow requires level 80 and comes from previous-expansion content, so today it is valued primarily as a transmog. Its silhouette and glow make it a great match for "void-arcane" sets, and obtaining it does not require a fixed group composition — the raid can be cleared on any available difficulty.

The crossbow drops in the Manaforge Omega raid — a The War Within raid. The drop comes from one of the bosses:
