Lamplighter's Greataxe — Transmog Set Guide

Lamplighter's Greataxe is a two-handed axe from the lamplighters' weapon set added in The War Within. It is a massive blade on a long haft in the signature "earthy" style of Khaz Algar: dark metal, rough forging, and warm ochre-gold accents.

The axe uses the same base model as the rest of the lamplighter weapons and differs from its counterparts in type and color scheme. Despite its modest green quality, the silhouette turned out imposing and reads well on the back — it is a solid "working" axe with no excessive flourish that fits the grounded, non-magical looks of warriors and paladins.

The axe does not drop from a specific boss — it is a reward from the Lamplighter Supply Satchel, which you receive for taking part in the Spreading the Light event in Hallowfall. The satchel drops a weapon suited to your specialization, so the greataxe comes to characters of the appropriate classes — warriors, paladins, and death knights.

How to get to it:

• The Spreading the Light event opens in Hallowfall after you complete the main The War Within story campaign and reach the third Renown level with the local Arathi.
• During the event, collect glowing shards from slain enemies and use them to light the key fires in the Blooming Light area.
• For completing the weekly task and its accompanying objectives, you earn reputation with the Arathi of Hallowfall and a supply satchel.
• The weapon in the satchel is random and tailored to your specialization, so the greataxe specifically may not come on the first try.

The event repeats weekly, and you can gather several satchels in a single run, so farming the appearance comes down to regular participation. An added bonus is a small chance at a mount from the same rewards.
