Larodar's Moonblade — Transmog Set Guide
Overview

Larodar's Moonblade is an epic-quality one-handed sword added in the Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope raid (Dragonflight expansion, patch 10.2). This weapon has stats geared toward intellect classes, so it is primarily of interest to spellcasting specializations as a transmog appearance.
The blade's model is rendered in the green-and-gold tones of the Emerald Dream: the blade looks woven from living woodland light, while embers of flame smolder at its base — a nod to Larodar himself, a former grove keeper who succumbed to the power of fire. The silhouette is compact and works equally well dual-wielded or paired with a shield or tome.
Source
The blade drops in the Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope raid from the fifth boss — Larodar, Keeper of the Flame.
- According to Wowhead data, the drop chance is around 31%, making the blade one of the most accessible appearances in the raid.
- The appearance is identical across all difficulties: Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic. To add it to your transmog collection, it is enough to kill the boss on any one of them.
- The limit is one boss kill per week per character. The Raid Finder mode grants additional attempts on a separate lockout.
- The boss is located in the raid zone, which is reached through a portal from the Dragon Isles. The raid entrance coordinates are on Amirdrassil's outer platform.
At the current Midnight max level, the Amirdrassil raid can be cleared by a small group or solo on most specializations, so farming the appearance does not require a full raid roster.
Who It Suits Visually
- It harmonizes with green-and-gold sets themed around the Emerald Dream, including the Amirdrassil raid sets.
- It looks great on nature-oriented druid and shaman outfits thanks to its woodland-fire texture.
- It suits mages and priests assembling an appearance in light, natural tones, as a contrast to dark cloth.
- It pairs with green and bronze shields and tomes for a cohesive "grove keeper" look.
Tips
Kill Larodar, Keeper of the Flame weekly on any available difficulty — the high drop chance of around 31% often completes the appearance in one or two visits.
If the blade does not drop from regular loot, check the Great Vault at the end of the week: raid items may come from there.
For quick farming, choose Raid Finder — it does not require a group and grants a separate weekly lockout for the boss kill.
It is best to farm on mobile, self-healing specializations so you can make your way to the fifth boss solo without delays.
Collect other Amirdrassil appearance items in a single run — many of them drop from the same bosses along the way to Larodar.
Remember that an item's stats are irrelevant for transmog: any difficulty's version will do, as long as the appearance matches.
