Legionkiller — Transmog Set Guide
Overview

Legionkiller is an epic-quality two-handed ranged weapon from The Burning Crusade expansion. The model is heavy and angular, with a massive metal body and wide arcs in the demonic style of the raid it comes from.
Ranged weapons in World of Warcraft are used only by hunters, so this appearance is useful exclusively to that class. Despite its low item level, it is a full-fledged epic model, sought after for looks that nod to classic Outland and the fight against the Burning Legion.
Source
This weapon drops in the Black Temple raid — a Burning Crusade dungeon in Shadowmoon Valley.
- It drops from Supremus, the raid's second boss.
- The drop chance is around 14-15%.
- The raid is long outdated and can be soloed on any class: you can reach Supremus in a few minutes.
- The item is bind on pickup, so you have to equip it and unlock the appearance on the character who looted it.
Coordinates of the raid entrance in Shadowmoon Valley:
Supremus stands at the start of the dungeon, right after the first boss, so it is convenient to drop in for the crossbow every week.
Alternatives
This model has no known recolors — it exists only in its single demonic version. If you want a similar heavy Outland-era crossbow, take a look at other ranged weapons from The Burning Crusade raids: you can find models with a similarly massive silhouette there.
Who It Suits Visually
- It pairs with plate and mail sets in dark, demonic tones.
- It looks great in Burning Crusade-era outfits and looks dedicated to the fight against the Burning Legion.
- It harmonizes with gear from the Black Temple itself, all kept in a single grim palette.
- It contrasts with light "nature" looks — wooden crossbows and bows fit those better.
Tips
The appearance is for hunters only, so it makes sense to farm the crossbow specifically on that class.
The raid is easily soloed: you can reach Supremus in a couple of minutes, and the fight itself has no solo-blocking mechanics.
The drop does not appear every time, so run the raid weekly until the crossbow drops.
Bind on pickup means you need to loot and equip it on the same character.
Along with the crossbow, Supremus and other Black Temple bosses drop rare appearance items — it is worth clearing the whole raid.
Before farming, make sure the appearance is not already unlocked: the transmog collection is shared across the entire account.
