Liferipper's Cutlass — Transmog Set Guide

Liferipper's Cutlass is an epic two-handed sword added in the Midnight expansion. It's a grim bone blade with a jagged edge that looks great on death warriors and dark knight transmog sets. The appearance unlocks through transmogrification once the sword lands in your bags.

The cutlass drops from Rak'tul — an elite undead bearing the title "Vessel of Souls" that dwells in the Maisara Caverns. He's a solo field boss who can be killed without a group at max level. The sword doesn't drop every time, so be ready to repeat the kill.

• Rak'tul respawns a few minutes after death — stay nearby and clear him on repeated spawns.
• The appearance has a low drop chance, so farming may take several runs. He also drops loot useful for leveling along the way.
• Once you obtain the sword, activate the appearance at a transmogrifier in any capital city.
