Overview

Lightwing Dragonhawk is a flying mount added in patch 11.2.0 "Ghosts of K'aresh." It is a dragonhawk infused with the energy of the Light, with radiant wings and an elegant silhouette.

The mount is available to every character on your account and is bound to your Warband. It adapts to your riding skill and current location, working as a ground, flying, and skyriding mount.

To obtain the mount, you need to:

Open the Battle.net Shop or the in-game Shop
Find the World of Warcraft: Midnight section
Purchase the Heroic Edition or the Epic Edition
Once the purchase is complete, the mount will automatically appear in your Mount Journal
Open the Mount Journal (default key Shift+P), find the Lightwing Dragonhawk, and learn it

The mount is granted immediately after the pre-order purchase — you do not need to wait for the Midnight expansion to launch. You can use it right now, in the current The War Within content.

Tips

The mount is granted instantly. After you pay for the pre-order, the Lightwing Dragonhawk appears in your Mount Journal right away. A relog may be required if the mount does not show up immediately

Consider the Epic Edition. The price difference between the Heroic and Epic Edition is $20, but the Epic Edition includes two extra mounts, two pets, a transmog set, a housing bundle, 30 days of game time, and early access — a worthwhile investment if you plan to play Midnight

The mount stays forever. The Lightwing Dragonhawk is not a temporary bonus — once purchased, it remains in your collection forever, even after the Midnight expansion launches
