Lunarglow Bow — Transmog Set Guide

Lunarglow Bow is a two-handed ranged bow added to World of Warcraft with the Warlords of Draenor expansion (patch 6.0.2). The model is unusual: a curved stave with a cold turquoise-green glow running along the string and tips, as if the bow had soaked up moonlight. That is why it and its whole series were named "lunar."

The item is of green quality and low item level, so it is useless in combat today — players take it purely for the look. It suits hunters, and after the appearance collection system was introduced, the unlocked look becomes available to any character on the account who can wield a bow.

The bow is part of a single "lunar" weapon series from Draenor sharing a common glowing texture. The series has variants for different weapon types: Lunarglow Gun, Lunarglow Dagger, Lunarglow Sword, and Lunarglow Greatsword.

The Lunarglow Bow is a world drop from Warlords of Draenor. It has no single guaranteed source: the appearance drops from regular mobs and from chests across Draenor's starting zones.

Main farming spots:

• Shadowmoon Valley — drops from the rank-and-file mobs of the Shadowmoon faction (ritualists, necrolytes) all over the zone.
• Frostfire Ridge — drops from the orc clan mobs;
• Dusty Lockbox — a treasure chest in Shadowmoon Valley, near the Citadel of Torment.

The chance from any individual mob is low, but the density of suitable targets in both zones is high, so ten to fifteen minutes of clearing usually yields the appearance. The item becomes soulbound when equipped, so you cannot buy it from the auction house — you have to farm it yourself.

• The cold turquoise-green highlight fits sets with a frost or arcane theme well — blue, silver, and white-blue ensembles.
• It pairs with kaldorei and nightborne looks thanks to its lunar-magic glow.
• It contrasts strikingly with Draenor's dark leather armor — a debatable but expressive choice for a hunter-ranger image.
• It works for restoration druids and frost mages as a thematic accent, even though they cannot wield a bow — the appearance still goes into the account collection.
