Mama's Insurance — Transmog Set Guide

For transmog collectors, it is first and foremost an easy-to-obtain ranged weapon piece. The gun itself has long been irrelevant in terms of stats, but its appearance remains popular among those who collect "working", no-frills firearms for hunter, engineer or mercenary looks.

Mama's Insurance is awarded for completing the quest Declawing Doomclaw in Netherstorm, a zone in Outland.

It is part of a small quest chain belonging to the local mechanic Mama Wheeler. To reach the quest you need, follow these steps.

• Find Mama Wheeler at the outpost in the Midrealm Post in Netherstorm, roughly at the point /way 46.6 56.4.
• Take the introductory quest Help Mama Wheeler and work through her quest chain.
• Complete the quest Declawing Doomclaw by delivering Doomclaw's hand to Mama Wheeler.
• As your reward, choose Mama's Insurance — the appearance is unlocked in your collection automatically when you receive the item.

The quest can be completed once per character. To unlock the appearance, it is enough to obtain the item once on any character able to use guns.

• It works well for hunter looks in the style of a steppe ranger or mercenary — the neutral dark model does not draw attention away from the armor.
• It pairs well with leather and mail sets in earthy, brown and gray tones.
• It fits engineering and "technical" looks where the gun should look like a practical tool rather than a ceremonial weapon.
