Marble Quilen

The Marble Quilen is a ground mount added to World of Warcraft in patch 10.2.7 (released May 7, 2024) alongside the limited-time WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria event. The mount depicts a stone quilen — a dog-like creature from Pandaria, brought to life by a mogu sorcerer. According to the collections journal description, the marble quilen was created by a mogu mage who breathed life into his favorite pet stone.

The mount is sold for the event's internal gold — Bronze, the currency of the Remix mode. It can only be acquired from a single vendor — Hemet Nesingwary XVII at the Infinite Bazaar. The price is fixed at 6,600 Bronze. After the event ended, the mount became unavailable for purchase.

The quilen belongs to the family of stone hounds bred by the mogu by breathing life into stone using ancient magic. In Pandaria, quilen serve as watchdogs, war mounts, and hunting companions.

• Limited event exclusive — the mount was only sold in the Remix: Mists of Pandaria mode, which was active from May 16 to August 19, 2024. After the event closed, the mount stopped being available, and it can no longer be obtained in the regular game
• Unique quilen model — the mount collection includes few stone hounds, and the marble coloring is considered one of the most striking among the available variants
• Speed 10 out of 10 — the mount receives a +60% or +100% bonus to ground movement speed depending on your riding skill and current zone
• Account-wide availability — once obtained, the mount unlocks on all characters of your account regardless of faction, race, and class
• Lore value — the mount's description reveals a detail about the power of mogu sorcerers, who are able to bring favorite objects to life, and expands the understanding of the origin of quilen in Pandaria

Since the Remix: Mists of Pandaria event ended in August 2024, the Reins of the Marble Quilen are currently unavailable for purchase. Below is the standard acquisition path, relevant during the event's activity or its potential return.

1. Create a special character for the Remix: Mists of Pandaria mode through the character selection screen
2. Level your hero through the Pandaria storyline and accumulate Bronze — the event's main currency. Bronze drops from mobs, is awarded for achievements, daily quests, dungeons, scenarios, and raids, and is also collected from Bronze orbs across the map
3. Accumulate at least 6,600 Bronze. Keep in mind that you may have other priority expenses
4. Head to Hemet Nesingwary XVII at the Infinite Bazaar
5. Open the vendor window, find the Reins of the Marble Quilen in the mounts category, and purchase it for 6,600 Bronze
6. Learn the item — the mount will automatically be added to the collection on all characters of the account

Bronze was the main currency of Remix: Mists of Pandaria. Without farming it, acquiring the mount was impossible. Below are the most effective methods of accumulating Bronze.

Main Sources

1. Killing mobs — every enemy in the Pandaria zones gave a small amount of Bronze. The most efficient were mass clusters of weak mobs, for example the goats in the Valley of the Four Winds
2. Bronze orbs — flying orbs appeared on the map, giving a large one-time reward for flying through them on a flying mount. The orbs respawned, so the route could be repeated
3. Dungeons and scenarios — each clear gave guaranteed Bronze plus a chance at additional rewards. Short heroic dungeons worked best
4. Raids — Pandaria raids in Remix mode gave the most Bronze per unit of time. Available from event level 25
5. Achievements — completing reputation achievements with Pandaria factions rewarded large portions of Bronze
6. Quests — daily and regular quests also gave Bronze as a side reward

Income Optimization

• Level up alts — over the entire event, an account could accumulate around 1.8 million Bronze with active farming on multiple characters
• Don't forget the orbs — flying through a single orb took a few seconds, while the reward could be 100–500 Bronze
• Speed up your gear — the higher your item level in Remix, the faster you killed mobs and cleared dungeons
• Save your loose Bronze — it could be traded with Hemet and other vendors for the goods you needed
