Merciless Gladiator's Cleaver is a one-handed axe from the Season 2 arena PvP set of The Burning Crusade era. The model features a massive, wide blade with a serrated edge and dark steel finish, kept in the cold gray-blue palette of the gladiatorial gear of that period. This is a classic "arena axe" of the Outland era, an instantly recognizable silhouette for anyone who experienced early rated PvP.

Mark of Honor currency. The vendor is Kezzik the Striker; he stands in Area 52 in Netherstorm, and his specialty is even labeled as such: "Gladiator and General Gear."
The process of obtaining it is simple:
- Stockpile Marks of Honor. They drop from old dungeons and raids, are awarded for completing quests, and can sometimes be purchased with other currencies — this is the main "key" to legacy PvP transmog.
- Fly to Area 52 in Netherstorm (Outland) and find Kezzik the Striker among the gear vendors.
- Trade your marks for the cleaver. The item is bound on pickup, but the appearance immediately goes into your account's collection.
The Mark of Honor is a shared currency for the entire legacy PvP assortment, so a single trip to Kezzik is enough to knock out several appearances from different seasons at once.
Alternatives
This cleaver is just one color in a lineup of identically shaped gladiator axes. If the base gray-blue coloring doesn't suit you, the same silhouette has direct recolors from neighboring seasons, and they are collected from the same legacy vendors for Marks of Honor.

During a single visit to Kezzik the Striker, look over the whole assortment: neighboring seasons offer recolors of this same axe, and collecting them at once saves time.
If you play a class that doesn't use axes, you can still buy the item to unlock the appearance — it will go into your collection, but you'll only be able to apply it to a suitable weapon.
Fly to Area 52 on a flying mount: the vendors stand on the open plaza of the city, and no special access or reputation is required to purchase.
Paired one-handed cleavers look great together — if you plan a dual-blade look, grab two identical models at once or combine recolors from different seasons.
