Neltharic Ritual Knife is a one-handed dagger of uncommon quality, added to World of Warcraft in the Dragonflight expansion (patch 10.1, "Embers of Neltharion"). It is part of a large weapon set in the black dragonflight style, designed to echo Neltharion's legacy: a dark obsidian blade with smoldering veins, a rough grip and a serrated edge, as if forged in the depths of a volcano.

The dagger carries an Intellect stat, so as a drop it goes to specs that rely on the mind: priests, mages, warlocks, shamans, druids and evokers. For transmogrification this restriction does not matter — the dagger's appearance can be worn by any class able to wield daggers, including rogues, hunters and warriors.

Visually the item is recognizable by its silhouette: a broad blade with a dark matte surface and warm orange-red flecks that nod to the underground fire of Zaralek Cavern. This is a "field" variant of draconic weaponry — grounded and stern, without the ornate gleam of epic artifacts.

The Neltharic Ritual Knife drops from ordinary humanoids of the Sundered Flame faction in the underground zone of Zaralek Cavern. A confirmed source is the Sundered Mender, a level 80 fighter patrolling the Sundered Flame camp in the southeastern part of the cavern.

To reach Zaralek Cavern, start the "Embers of Neltharion" campaign in Valdrakken. The zone opens at level 70. The simplest entrance is the on-foot "Old Loamm Road" tunnel from the Tyrhold flight point on the Ohn'ahran Plains; there are also other passages through the Azure Span and the Cascades canyon. After your first visit, the cavern's internal flight-point network becomes available.
