Get Netherbane

Netherbane is an epic one-handed axe added to World of Warcraft in The Burning Crusade expansion. It is a compact yet expressive blade with a serrated edge in a purple-nether palette that echoes the energy of the Netherstorm, where the raid floats.

The item level has long been irrelevant for combat, so the axe is of interest purely as a transmog. This one-handed weapon suits every class that wields axes: warriors, paladins, hunters, shamans, death knights, rogues, and demon hunters. Its rich purple hue makes the model stand out among other one-handed axes of the early expansions.

The axe drops in The Eye raid — the former naaru fortress in the Netherstorm (Outland). This is The Burning Crusade content, which today can easily be cleared solo at the current level cap.
