Overview

Боевой клинок сумеречного проклятого клинка

Game iconNightfall Curseblade's Warglaive is a one-handed paired blade from The War Within expansion. The model is done in a dark-purple "nightfall" palette: a curved blade with a serrated edge and crimson-violet veins, as if soaked in dark magic. It is one of the most striking paired-blade options for demon hunters — the only class that wields such a weapon.

The weapon belongs to a set of appearances with a dark "nightfall" tint, uniting an entire line of weapons in a single style. The equipped blade has a nice touch: auto-attacks deal a little extra dark-magic damage and are accompanied by a purple visual effect, reinforcing the "cursed" look.

The item level (89) is already irrelevant for combat, so the item's value is purely cosmetic. Getting it is easy and cheap — it all comes down simply to taking part in the relevant event.

Source

The appearance is tied to the "Nightfall" world event in The War Within, where players fight on the side of the Radiant Flame faction against the forces of the Sureki in Hallowfall and adjacent zones. The event's rewards are bought from vendors at the camp by Mereldar's Tears.

Where to look:

  • Hallowfall is a The War Within zone. The Radiant Flame camp and vendors are located by Mereldar's Tears, in the southwest of the zone.
  • Vesper Churnmoat stands in the camp by Mereldar's Tears and sells the weapons of the nightfall-tinted set.

How to get the currency:

  • Radiant Emblems of Service are awarded for taking part in the event scenario and for the Radiant Flame weekly quest.
  • Besides buying from the vendor, set items sometimes drop directly during event activities — from loot bags and quest rewards.
  • The appearance is unlocked in your collection once you obtain the item; buying a single emblem is enough, and you do not have to equip the blade.

Who It Suits Visually

  • Ideal for dark demon hunter looks in a purple-and-black palette — the blade alone sets the "cursed" theme.
  • Harmonizes with armor sets that feature crimson and violet accents, for example with nightfall and nathrezim motifs.
  • Pairs well with the matching item from the same set — two identical nightfall blades look cohesive.
  • Contrasts with light "holy" sets — for those it is better to pick a weapon of a different tint.

Tips

1

The cheapest way to complete the appearance is to buy the blade for 1 emblem as soon as you have saved up the event currency.

2

The paired blade is worn only by demon hunters, so it is more convenient to unlock the appearance on a character of that class.

3

Emblems accumulate quickly if you do the weekly quest and take part in the event scenario regularly.

4

A single run of the event can give you a chance at several set items at once from loot bags — it is worthwhile to farm the full set.

5

Before buying, check your transmog collection window: the variant you need may already have dropped for you during the event.

6

If the event is currently inactive, wait for its rotation — the vendor and rewards are only available during the event phase.

7

The item level and the level-80 requirement are a formality: the item is needed purely for its appearance.
