Started playing back in Pandaria, when the pandaren were still a novelty. Got stuck on Monk because it's the only class where you don't get dizzy after a dash. Tries to manage both tanking and kicking enemies in the face.

Ny'alotha Allseer is a rare flying mount from the Battle for Azeroth expansion (Patch 8.3). It is a multi-eyed Void jellyfish infused with N'Zoth's dark energy. The mount drops from N'Zoth the Corruptor, the final boss of the Ny'alotha, the Waking City raid, only on Mythic difficulty with an approximate 1% drop chance.
There are two ways to get this mount:
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Boss | N'Zoth the Corruptor |
| Raid | Ny'alotha, the Waking City |
| Difficulty | Mythic only |
| Drop chance | Approximately 1% |
| Binding | Binds when picked up |
| Lockout | Weekly reset (1 attempt per week per character) |
| Item | |
| Mount type | Flying |
The entrance to the Ny'alotha raid is located inside a floating obelisk. Its location depends on which zone is under Black Empire assault during the current week.
Entrance coordinates:
The entrance is above the Vir'naal Dam, south of Ramkahen.
Entrance coordinates:
The entrance is above Whitepetal Lake.
Both regions — Uldum and Vale of Eternal Blossoms — have multiple time phases. The raid entrance is only available in the N'Zoth assault phase (Patch 8.3). If you don't see the obelisk, you need to speak with Zidormi to switch to the correct phase.
Make sure you are in the Black Empire assault phase before looking for the entrance.
At level 80 (The War Within), the Ny'alotha raid is fully soloable on Mythic difficulty. Starting from Patch 10.2.7, all restrictions preventing solo completion were removed: the legendary cloak
Ashjra'kamas, Shroud of Resolve is no longer required for the N'Zoth's Carapace and N'Zoth encounters.
Ny'alotha offers a boss skip quest — Ny'alotha: MOTHER's Guidance. This quest is given by Wrathion at the start of the raid.
Until you obtain the skip, you will need to clear all 12 bosses each week.
The N'Zoth encounter consists of several phases and requires understanding mechanics even at level 80:
The weekly lockout allows only one attempt per character per week. To speed up farming, use multiple level 80 characters:
Any class at level 80 can handle the raid, but some clear it faster:
With an approximate 1% drop chance and one attempt per week per character:
| Attempts | Probability of obtaining |
|---|---|
| 25 (half a year, 1 character) | ~22% |
| 50 (one year, 1 character) | ~39% |
| 100 (2 years, 1 character) | ~63% |
| 50 (10 weeks, 5 characters) | ~39% |
| 100 (10 weeks, 10 characters) | ~63% |
With 5 characters, you will make 100 attempts in 20 weeks — that is approximately a 63% chance of getting the mount.
Make sure to set Mythic difficulty before entering. The mount does not drop on other difficulties
Complete the skip quest as soon as possible — 4 full clears will pay for themselves in time savings. Without the skip, a full clear takes 30–40 minutes; with it, 10–15 minutes
Don't forget about Zidormi — the most common mistake when looking for the raid entrance. If the obelisk is missing, talk to Zidormi to switch the zone's time phase
Watch the Black Market Auction House — if you have enough gold, buying it at auction can save months or years of farming
Participate in the Collector's Bounty event — during this event, the mount drop chance is increased by 5%, significantly boosting your probability
Farm other mounts in parallel — while waiting for the weekly reset, visit other Battle for Azeroth raids to farm rare mounts, such as
Glacial Tidestorm from the Battle of Dazar'alor raid
Enter the raid every week — skipping even one week delays your farming. Set a reminder for reset day (Wednesday for EU, Tuesday for US)
