Get Ny'alotha Allseer mount

Ny'alotha Allseer is a rare flying mount from the Battle for Azeroth expansion (Patch 8.3). It is a multi-eyed Void jellyfish infused with N'Zoth's dark energy. The mount drops from N'Zoth the Corruptor, the final boss of the Ny'alotha, the Waking City raid, only on Mythic difficulty with an approximate 1% drop chance.

• Rarity — the drop chance is approximately 1%, and attempts are limited to once per week per character. This is one of the hardest mounts to obtain in the game
• Unique appearance — a multi-eyed Void jellyfish with no analogues among other mounts. The model is inspired by Old God aesthetics
• Collection value — a mount from the final raid of the Battle for Azeroth era, a memento of the confrontation with N'Zoth
• Collector's Bounty event — during this event, the mount drop chance is increased by 5%, making farming slightly more efficient

There are two ways to get this mount:

1. Farming the Ny'alotha raid — the primary method. Defeat N'Zoth the Corruptor on Mythic difficulty. The mount only drops on this difficulty with an approximate 1% chance. The raid has a weekly lockout, so you get one attempt per week per character
2. Black Market — starting from Patch 10.1.5, the mount periodically appears on the Black Market Auction House. The starting price is around 20,000 gold, but the final price often reaches several million

The entrance to the Ny'alotha raid is located inside a floating obelisk. Its location depends on which zone is under Black Empire assault during the current week.

Entrance via Uldum

Entrance coordinates:

The entrance is above the Vir'naal Dam, south of Ramkahen.

1. Use the portal to Uldum from your faction's portal room (Cataclysm portals section)
2. Fly to coordinates 54, 43 and ascend to the floating obelisk

Entrance via Vale of Eternal Blossoms

Entrance coordinates:

The entrance is above Whitepetal Lake.

1. Use the portal to Jade Forest from your faction's portal room (Pandaria portals section)
2. Fly to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms at coordinates 39, 43

Important: Phase Switching via Zidormi

Both regions — Uldum and Vale of Eternal Blossoms — have multiple time phases. The raid entrance is only available in the N'Zoth assault phase (Patch 8.3). If you don't see the obelisk, you need to speak with Zidormi to switch to the correct phase.

• In Uldum — Zidormi is located in Ramkahen. Look for the speech bubble icon on the map
• In Vale of Eternal Blossoms — Zidormi stands on the upper balcony of Mogu'shan Palace

Make sure you are in the Black Empire assault phase before looking for the entrance.

At level 80 (The War Within), the Ny'alotha raid is fully soloable on Mythic difficulty. Starting from Patch 10.2.7, all restrictions preventing solo completion were removed: the legendary cloak Ashjra'kamas, Shroud of Resolve is no longer required for the N'Zoth's Carapace and N'Zoth encounters.

Boss Skip

Ny'alotha offers a boss skip quest — Ny'alotha: MOTHER's Guidance. This quest is given by Wrathion at the start of the raid.

1. Complete the raid fully on Mythic difficulty 4 times, collecting Corrupted Flesh samples from the penultimate boss
2. After completing the quest, you receive a permanent pass allowing you to teleport from the first boss directly to N'Zoth's Carapace
3. This reduces clear time from 30–40 minutes to 10–15 minutes

Until you obtain the skip, you will need to clear all 12 bosses each week.

N'Zoth Fight: Key Mechanics

The N'Zoth encounter consists of several phases and requires understanding mechanics even at level 80:

1. Phase 1 — breaking the shield. Kill tentacles. When a portal message appears, enter the pool leading to the brain room before N'Zoth finishes his cast. If you miss it — instant death
2. Brain room. Do not move after entering. Wait for Psychus to approach you, kill him, and click on the Exposed Synapse
3. Repeat cycles. Return to the main hall, deal damage to N'Zoth, repeat the brain room entry. N'Zoth has 99% damage resistance until you complete the brain room mechanic
4. Sanity. When you lose sanity, you are not mind-controlled — instead, sanity resets to 30 and you receive a 25% damage and healing buff
5. Final phase. When the Gateway to the Heart Chamber appears, enter it, defeat the boss inside, and return to deal the finishing blow

Using Alts

The weekly lockout allows only one attempt per character per week. To speed up farming, use multiple level 80 characters:

• Each additional character is one more attempt per week
• Starting from Patch 11.0.5, the boss skip quest became account-wide — complete it once and the skip is available on all characters
• Having 5–10 characters is recommended for a meaningful increase in chances

Best Classes for Solo Farming

Any class at level 80 can handle the raid, but some clear it faster:

• Demon Hunter (Havoc) — high mobility and AoE damage for fast trash clearing
• Druid (Balance) — travel form speeds up movement between bosses
• Warlock (Destruction) — steady damage and self-healing for comfortable clears

With an approximate 1% drop chance and one attempt per week per character:

With 5 characters, you will make 100 attempts in 20 weeks — that is approximately a 63% chance of getting the mount.
