Overview

Лезвие забвения

Game iconOblivion's Edge is a cosmetic two-handed axe appearance from the Midnight expansion. The massive blade is crafted in the domanaar style — the race of Void servitors: dark metal with a matte texture and a cold purple-black glow along the edge. The silhouette is heavy and angular, without excess ornamentation, which makes the appearance recognizable precisely thanks to the Void color palette.

The item is level 1 and flagged as "Warband Bound" — it is a pure transmog appearance, not a combat weapon. When used, it adds the appearance to your warband's appearance collection, after which it becomes available to all characters on the account. There is no point in carrying this axe for its stats — its value is purely visual.

Source

Oblivion's Edge drops from the Nullaeus Cache — a chest tied to the first-season Midnight nemesis boss named Nullaeus.

  • The chest is located in the Torment's Rise delve, whose entrance lies in the southeastern part of the Voidstorm zone.
  • The delve entrance opens at the maximum level of 90 in the current Midnight season.
  • The fight with Nullaeus supports both solo runs and group play, but it is a full-fledged skill check with invulnerability phases at 75%, 50%, and 25% health.
  • Access to Nullaeus opens after clearing the delve of the corresponding difficulty level while keeping at least one life.
  • The appearance is warband bound, so it is enough to obtain it on a single character — it unlocks for the entire account.

Since the source is a seasonal nemesis chest, farming the appearance is tied to first-season Midnight activity. If you want to guarantee adding the axe to your collection, it makes sense to close out Nullaeus before the season ends.

Who It Suits Visually

  • It suits armor sets in the Void palette from the Voidstorm zone — the axe's dark metal echoes the overall color scheme.
  • It harmonizes with purple-black and Void-themed sets that feature glowing edges — for example, looks based on Xal'atath and the Void servitors.
  • It contrasts strikingly with purely plate "knightly" sets in light tones — a debatable but expressive choice for a dark antihero.
  • It works well with concepts of warriors and frenzied combatants where you need a large, intimidating two-hander.

Tips

1

The appearance is added to your collection on use, so don't rush to discard the item before using it — after that the axe disappears from your bag but stays in your collection forever.

2

Level your character to 90 in advance: first-season Midnight delves are available only at maximum level.

3

Before heading in to Nullaeus, clear the delve of the required level while keeping a life, otherwise the corresponding difficulty level of the nemesis won't open.

4

Solo runs require watching for interrupts on the boss's dangerous abilities — for reliably securing the chest it's easier to go in a group.

5

In a single run to Nullaeus you can also earn other seasonal rewards (a cosmetic helmet, a mount for high-level solo play, a toy from a seasonal quest), so plan your farming comprehensively.

6

Since the appearance is warband bound, there's no need to farm it again on alts — it immediately becomes available to all your characters.
