Get Orgrimmar Wolf mount

Orgrimmar Wolf is a ground mount of the Horde faction, added to World of Warcraft in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion (patch 3.1.0). It is a large brown wolf clad in battle armor bearing the emblem of Orgrimmar, bred to represent the orc capital at the Argent Tournament. The mount is the counterpart to the Alliance's Stormwind Steed.

The mount is purchased from Freka Bloodaxe — the Orgrimmar quartermaster at the Argent Tournament Grounds in Icecrown — for 100 Champion's Seals. To buy it you must play an orc or earn the achievement Champion of Orgrimmar.

• Unique wolf model — the Orgrimmar Wolf differs from the standard Horde riding wolves with its special armor and coloring characteristic of Argent Tournament rewards. Among collectors it is prized as one of the pieces of the full set of the tournament's city mounts
• Part of a large collection — the Argent Tournament sells five Horde faction mounts, five Alliance mounts, as well as shared mounts. While you are saving up seals, it makes sense to collect them all
• Available account-wide — after purchase the mount appears in the collection of all your Horde characters
• No element of chance — unlike mounts with a percentage drop chance, the Orgrimmar Wolf is guaranteed to be purchased for a fixed amount of currency. It is only a matter of time
• Progress toward the Crusader title — buying all the faction mounts of the Argent Tournament is tied to leveling up ranks, which leads to the «Crusader» title. This title unlocks additional daily quests and speeds up earning seals

The Argent Tournament Grounds are located in the northeastern part of the Icecrown zone in Northrend.

1. Open the portal room in Orgrimmar and use the «Dalaran, Crystalsong» portal — it will take you to Dalaran (Northrend)
2. From Dalaran, fly north — the Argent Tournament grounds are in Icecrown, to the northeast of Sindragosa's Fall. The flight takes about a minute
3. Land at the tournament grounds — you will see the faction tents, training arenas and the Argent Colosseum

The path to the mount consists of two stages: first you complete the Argent Tournament quest chain up to the rank of Champion of Orgrimmar, and then you save up 100 Champion's Seals for the purchase.

Stage 1: Earning the Rank of Champion of Orgrimmar

Progression at the Argent Tournament passes through three ranks: Aspirant, Valiant and Champion.

Aspirant Rank (3 days)

1. Speak with the representative of your race in the Horde tent at the tournament grounds and take the starting quest of the series
2. Complete three training tasks on mounted combat: melee, the charge attack and shield-breaking — they will teach you to use the tournament lance while mounted
3. Complete the Aspirant daily quests, gathering 5 Aspirant's Marks per day. To advance to the next rank you need 15 marks — this will take 3 days

Valiant Rank (5 days)

1. Choose the city you will fight for — for this mount you need Orgrimmar
2. Complete the Valiant daily quests, which bring 5 Valiant's Marks per day
3. To advance to the rank of Champion you need 25 marks — this will take 5 days
4. After gathering 25 marks, take the quest «The Valiant's Challenge» and defeat the NPC champion in the lists

Champion Rank

After the victory you earn the achievement Champion of Orgrimmar and access to the quartermaster. The minimum time from start to the rank of Champion is 8 days.

Stage 2: Collecting 100 Champion's Seals

After earning the rank of Champion, daily quests that bring Champion's Seals open up to you. On average you can earn 7–14 seals per day, depending on the number of cities unlocked and whether you have the Crusader title.

Main sources of seals:

Earning 7–10 seals per day, collecting 100 of them will take approximately 10–14 days of daily quests. At maximum efficiency with the Crusader title — 7–8 days.

Stage 3: Purchasing the Mount

1. Find Freka Bloodaxe in the Orgrimmar tent at the Argent Tournament grounds
2. Speak with her and select Orgrimmar Wolf in the list of goods
3. Pay 100 Champion's Seals — the mount will appear in your inventory
4. Use the item and the mount will be added to your collection

If you are already a Crusader and earn 12–14 seals per day, collecting 100 seals shortens to 7–8 days.

Become a Crusader

The «Crusader» title is awarded for reaching the rank of Champion of all five cities of your faction and being exalted with them. After that, additional daily quests open up that increase the daily earnings of seals to 12–14. Leveling up all five cities will take about 25 days from the start (5 days for Valiant for each city), but it pays off in the long run if you are collecting several mounts.

Heroic Trial of the Champion

The Trial of the Champion dungeon on heroic mode brings 3 Champion's Seals per run. At level 90 the dungeon is cleared in a few minutes without any difficulty. Do not neglect this source — it significantly speeds up the farm.

Multiple Characters

Champion's Seals are a personal currency, and the mount binds on pickup but is added to the shared collection. If you want to collect all the tournament mounts faster, you can level up a second character in parallel and buy different mounts on different characters.
