Get Pale Acidmaw mount

Pale Acidmaw is a ground mount from the World of Warcraft: Shadowlands expansion, one of the three pale variations of gormlings — enormous insect-like creatures that inhabit Ardenweald and serve the Wild Hunt's night folk. Unlike their green, blue and orange kin, pale gorms feature a ghostly-white chitinous carapace with a bluish sheen, giving them a mystical and somewhat sinister appearance.

The main feature of this mount is its universal availability. Although it can be obtained through the features of all four covenants of the Shadowlands, each path requires its own set of actions, reputation and effort. The mount was added in patch 9.0.1 alongside the release of Shadowlands and became one of the main collection goals for players investing in leveling their covenant features.

Pale Acidmaw can be obtained in four different ways — one for each covenant of the Shadowlands. You only need one of them to add the mount to your collection. If you switch covenants, you can combine several methods, but it is easiest to focus on your current one.

Method 1. Necrolords — Abomination Factory

The most predictable way to obtain the mount: after reaching Exalted with the Stitchmasters you can simply buy it from a vendor.

1. Choose the Necrolords covenant in Maldraxxus
2. Unlock access to the Abomination Factory feature in the House of Plagues, the active part of the Seat of the Primus covenant sanctum
3. Build reputation with the Stitchmasters faction by completing weekly quests and creating abominations at the factory
4. Reach Exalted status
5. Accumulate 5000 Reservoir Anima
6. Head to the vendor at the Abomination Factory and purchase the Pale Acidmaw for 5000 anima

Method 2. Kyrian — Path of Ascension

Kyrian obtain the mount from a nearby vendor after completing an achievement on the Path of Ascension.

1. Join the Kyrian covenant in Bastion
2. Level the Path of Ascension feature to rank 3
3. Complete the achievement The Best There Was by finishing the specified Path of Ascension trials
4. Accumulate 2500 Reservoir Anima
5. Visit the vendor in the Elysian Hold covenant sanctum
6. Purchase the Pale Acidmaw for 2500 anima — this is the cheapest way to obtain it

Method 3. Night Fae — Queen's Conservatory

For the Night Fae the mount drops with a random chance from a chest for successfully growing a spirit in the Queen's Conservatory.

1. Join the Night Fae covenant in Ardenweald
2. Level the Queen's Conservatory feature to rank 5
3. Use Untamed-type spirits
4. Place catalysts with four Wild Root Seeds in adjacent fertile plots
5. Wait for the cycle to finish and collect the reward chest
6. With some chance the Pale Acidmaw will drop from the chest — the chance is higher when using a higher-quality spirit

Method 4. Venthyr — Ember Court

Venthyr obtain the mount from tribute chests at the end of an Ember Court reception.

1. Join the Venthyr covenant in Revendreth
2. Level the Ember Court feature to at least rank 3
3. Reach the "Best Friend" relationship level with the guests from Ardenweald — Hunt-Captain Korayn or Lady Moonberry
4. Host Ember Court receptions, inviting these guests and ensuring that their happiness level reaches the maximum value "Delighted"
5. At the end of a successful reception, open the tribute chests — substantial, opulent or luxurious
6. With a chance the Pale Acidmaw will drop from the chest; the probability is higher with higher-quality tributes
