Get Piercing Strandbow

Piercing Strandbow is an Agility bow added to World of Warcraft in the The War Within expansion (patch 11.2). The model is built on the ethereal style of K'aresh: a thin, curved limb of woven arcane thread with a muted purple-amethyst glow and a string of luminous silk. The weapon suits ranged Agility classes — hunters.

As a transmog, the bow is prized for its unusual "woven" silhouette: instead of the usual wood or metal, it is braided from glowing thread, which fits well with looks themed around the Void, ethereals, and magical webbing.

The bow is obtained in the Manaforge Omega raid — the final raid of The War Within on K'aresh. The source of the appearance is the second boss, Loom'ithar, a weaver beast that spins arcane silk for the Twilight Watch.

• The bow drops directly from Loom'ithar with a chance of around 28.99% per kill.
• The appearance is available on difficulties from Normal mode and above, including Heroic and Mythic.
• The boss is located roughly at the point /way 63.8 64.8 in the raid; it is the second encounter after the Plexus Sentinels.
• The item is bound on pickup, so it cannot be passed to another character — collect the appearance on the character who needs it.
• Weekly lockout: on each difficulty mode, loot from the boss is available once per week per character.

The fastest way is to set the raid to Normal mode and visit Loom'ithar once a week. Since The War Within content is outdated, at the maximum level of 90 the raid can be cleared with a small group or solo on most classes.
