Prestigious Ivory Courser

Prestigious Ivory Courser is a ground mount from the "Prestigious Coursers" line, first added in the Legion expansion. It is a striking white steed clad in silver armor with a green caparison, reminiscent of a knightly warhorse from the Broken Isles.

The mount is awarded automatically when you earn the Honor Level 40 achievement and is tied to PvP progression. Once obtained, it becomes account-wide.

• It opens the path to the next "Prestigious Coursers": the Bronze at level 15, the Azure at level 70 and rarer variants.

• A level 80 character (recommended for effective PvP in the current The War Within S2 season).
• Unlocked Apprentice Riding — granted automatically at level 80.
• Access to PvP activities: battlegrounds, rated battlegrounds, arenas, PvP Brawls and world quests with the PvP tag.
• Honor Level 40 — the main progression goal.
• The mount is awarded automatically; no vendors or quests are required.

Step 1 — Check your current Honor Level

Open the PvP window (hotkey H) and look at the Honor Level indicator next to your portrait. Honor Level carries over between seasons and is not reset. If you already have old progress from Legion, Battle for Azeroth or Shadowlands, it counts.

Step 2 — Set up your Honor experience farming

The main sources of Honor experience in The War Within:

• First Win of the Day — bonus Honor experience for your first win in a battleground, epic battleground, arena and rated battleground. The bonuses stack, so claim your first wins in every mode daily.
• Regular battlegrounds — a steady source, available through the group finder tool
• Epic battlegrounds — grant more Honor experience per win, but the matches are longer
• 2v2 and 3v3 arenas — fast matches, convenient for streaks
• Rated Blitz battlegrounds (8v8) — a new The War Within format that grants plenty of Honor and rated rewards
• PvP Brawls — rotate once a week and grant increased Honor experience
• World PvP quests — daily quests in the current zones with the PvP tag
• "Battleground Lord" quests — weekly quests with a large amount of Honor experience

Step 3 — Collect the intermediate rewards

On the way to level 40 you will receive:

• Level 10 — the Honorable Pennant toy
• Level 15 — the Prestigious Bronze Courser mount
• Level 20 — a pet
• Level 25 — the "Honored" title
• Level 30 — the Prestigious Pennant toy
• Level 35 — an additional reward
• Level 40 — the Prestigious Ivory Courser mount

Step 4 — Optimal weekly schedule

1. On Monday (after the reset) earn your first wins of the day in every PvP mode
2. Complete the active PvP Brawl of the week
3. Pick up the weekly quests from the captain in Dornogal or any capital city
4. Clear the daily world PvP quests
5. Repeat until you reach Honor Level 40

Step 5 — Receiving the mount

As soon as you reach Honor Level 40, the game automatically unlocks the Honor Level 40 achievement, and the mount is sent via in-game mail. Open the mailbox in any capital city — the package with the mount will be held for 60 days. After using the item, the Prestigious Ivory Courser will appear in your mount collection (hotkey Shift+P).

• Seasonal Honor experience bonuses. At the start of a season Blizzard often enables accelerated Honor experience gains — catch these windows.
• A premade group reduces queue wait times and increases your chance of winning. Gather friends for battlegrounds.
• Blitz 8v8 in the current The War Within season is one of the most efficient modes: short matches, lots of Honor and rated rewards.
• Don't forget PvP gear. Buy a basic set from the vendor in Dornogal for Honor marks — it greatly increases your chances of winning.
• Farming Honor in lower modes. If rated matches are unavailable to you, focus on epic battlegrounds and brawls — they require no rating but grant decent experience.
• Progress is not lost. Even if you skip a season, the Honor Level you have earned is preserved. You can return to farming at any time.
• Check your old accounts. If you played Legion, Battle for Azeroth or Shadowlands, you may already have part of your progress.
