Random Number Perforator is an epic one-handed dagger added to World of Warcraft with The War Within expansion in patch 11.1.0. It is a raid weapon from the gear set of the Liberation of Undermine raid, and its appearance is entirely styled after Gallywix's underground goblin casino.
The blade looks like a fragment of a slot machine: a brass body, rivets, garishly bright enamel, and the recognizable reel symbols of a one-armed bandit. The name itself plays on the term "random number generator" — the logic by which a casino pays out a win. The silhouette is short and broad, with a massive guard, so the dagger reads as a heavy mechanical tool rather than an elegant stiletto.
This is an agility weapon: its primary stats are agility, stamina, critical strike rating, and mastery rating. Daggers are wielded by rogues, druids, shamans, monks, and demon hunters, but visually the blade is most often assembled by rogues for dual daggers.
The Random Number Perforator is obtained from the boss One-Armed Bandit — the sixth of eight bosses in the Liberation of Undermine raid. The raid is located in Undermine, the goblin capital, and belongs to The War Within expansion.
Key details on obtaining it:
If you need the appearance purely for the collection, the easiest route is through Raid Finder: the difficulty is available without assembling a group, and the dagger drops there just the same.
The Random Number Perforator has no separate color variants as standalone items — all difficulty levels use the same blade appearance, which is unlocked just once. This model has no separate recolors with different enamel coloring.
If you want a goblin dagger that's similar in spirit, look toward weapons from the same zone and from the reputation of the Undermine cartels:
To unlock the appearance, it's enough to kill the One-Armed Bandit once on any difficulty — there's no need to go into Mythic mode.
If you're collecting the appearance for your collection, start with Raid Finder: the group fills automatically, and there's still a chance for the dagger there.
Clear the boss with several characters capable of wielding daggers — each weekly reset gives an additional chance at the drop.
Watch the fight's phases: in the first phase it's important to feed "tokens" into the machine on time, otherwise the overload mode triggers and the group takes a raid-wide damage buff.
The appearance unlocks upon picking up the item even on a character who doesn't need the dagger by stats — the looted blade can be disenchanted right away.
Keep an eye on the weekly raid reset: the One-Armed Bandit is available once a week on each difficulty, so farming the appearance stretches across several game weeks.
For a dual-wield rogue look, collect two copies of the appearance — the dagger looks good in both hands thanks to its symmetrical model.
