Get Prestigious War Wolf mount

Prestigious War Wolf is a ground mount available only to Horde characters. It is an armored black wolf with spikes, with a model based on the fierce war wolf. The mount was added in the Legion expansion (patch 7.0.3) and is a reward for PvP activity on the Broken Isles.

Movement speed depends on your riding skill: 60% at the starting level and 100% with Expert riding. The mount is account-wide, so once obtained it can be used by all characters on your account.

Alliance players earn an analogous mount for the same achievement — Reins of the Prestigious War Steed.

To obtain the mount you must complete the meta-achievement Last Hero Standing. This achievement requires completing four PvP World Quests on the Broken Isles 20 times each. The total number of completions is 80.

Once the meta-achievement is finished, the mount will automatically appear in your collection. Characters of the opposite faction will receive their own version of the mount.

The meta-achievement consists of four separate achievements, each tied to a specific PvP World Quest:

Operation: Murloc Freedom (Azsuna)

The quest takes place on the coast of Azsuna. You will fight other players and NPCs in a free-for-all PvP zone. You earn points for each kill, and when you reach the required amount, the quest is considered complete. Killing NPCs also counts, though it awards fewer points.

Bareknuckle Brawl (Stormheim)

The quest takes place in the area of the Storm's Edge in Stormheim. Participants mount special creatures with unique abilities and fight while riding. This is one of the most dynamic quests in the series.

Black Rook Rumble (Val'sharah)

The quest takes place near Black Rook Hold in Val'sharah. The mechanic is similar to the other PvP World Quests: you accumulate points by defeating other players and NPCs within the quest area.

Darkbrul Arena (Highmountain)

The quest takes place in an arena in Highmountain. You fight other players and NPCs, accumulating points to complete the quest. The arena is a compact area, which ensures frequent clashes.

Quest Schedule

PvP World Quests appear on a fixed schedule and rotate every 6 hours. At any given moment only one of the four quests is active. The quests typically appear at 03:00, 09:00, 15:00, and 21:00 server time, although the schedule may vary slightly.

War Mode Is Not Required

You do not need to enable War Mode to participate in these quests. When you enter the quest zone, you are automatically flagged for PvP, even if War Mode is disabled.

NPCs Count

You can complete the quests by fighting exclusively NPCs. This is especially useful when there are few other players in the zone. While NPCs award fewer points than players, this lets you make steady progress toward your goal.

Legion Invasions

If a Legion invasion is active in the zone, the corresponding PvP quest will not appear. Keep this in mind when planning.

Tracking Progress

You can track your achievement progress through the Achievements panel under the "PvP" category — "PvP World Quests." Each sub-achievement shows how many completions have already been counted out of 20.

Estimated Timeframe

Since each quest appears once or twice in every 24-hour cycle, completing all four achievements will take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, depending on how regularly you track the quest schedule.
