Reins of the Soaring Sky Fox

Reins of the Soaring Sky Fox — an epic flying mount added in patch 10.2.5. It is a graceful blue fox with heart-decorated tack. The mount is account-wide and available to all your characters.

The mount was originally sold exclusively in the Battle.net Shop as part of "The Sky Witch Pack" for $30. Starting in December 2025, it entered the Trading Post rotation, where it can be purchased with the in-game currency — Trader's Tender.

• A flying mount with a unique fox model — one of three fox variants alongside Reins of the Amicable Sky Fox and Reins of the Dusky Skyterror
• Available for in-game currency without real money
• Beautiful flight animation — the fox glides through the air with its fluffy tail spread out
• Matches the "Sky Witch Attire" transmog set, which can also be obtained at the Trading Post

• Character level 10 or higher
• Riding skill: Apprentice Riding for ground travel, Expert Riding for flight
• 750 Trader's Tender
• The mount is only available during certain months of the Trading Post rotation

Step 1 — Accumulate Trader's Tender

Trader's Tender is the monthly Trading Post currency. You get it from two sources:

1. Collector's Cache — on the 1st of each month you are automatically granted 500 Tender if you have an active subscription
2. Traveler's Log — by completing log activities (dungeons, raids, PvP, gathering resources, world quests), you earn up to 1000 additional Tender per month

In total, you can earn up to 1500 Tender in a single month. To buy the fox you need 750 — that is half the monthly cap.

Tender carries over between months. If you haven't spent your currency before, you may already have enough Tender to make the purchase right now.

Step 2 — Wait for the rotation

The Trading Post refreshes its inventory on the 1st of each month. The "Reins of the Soaring Sky Fox" mount appears in the rotation periodically — it was first available in December 2025. If the mount isn't on sale this month, keep an eye on the announcements on the official World of Warcraft website.

Step 3 — Visit the Trading Post

The Trading Post is located in the capitals:

• Stormwind — Tony and Wylder's stall, near the Mage Quarter
• Orgrimmar — Zen'shiri's stall, near Grommash Hold

Approach the trader, open the catalog, and purchase the Reins of the Soaring Sky Fox for 750 Trader's Tender.

Step 4 — Activate the mount

After purchase, the item is automatically added to your mount collection. Open the Mount Journal (Shift+P by default), find "Reins of the Soaring Sky Fox" and add it to favorites for quick access.

The mount was originally part of "The Sky Witch Pack," which was sold in the Battle.net Shop from December 2, 2024 to March 31, 2025 for $30. In addition to the mount, the pack included:

• The "Sky Witch Attire" transmog set: hat, shoulders, blouse, gloves, belt, skirt, and boots
• The "Sky Witch's Broom" — a separate broom mount

Individual items from the pack also appear periodically in the Trading Post rotation for Trader's Tender.
