Rykard's Reliable Ribcutter is a rare-quality one-handed dagger added to World of Warcraft with the Warlords of Draenor expansion (patch 6.0.1). The blade belongs to the Draenor "dungeon" dagger model: a short blade with rough forging, a thickened spine, and a simple but recognizable hilt in a steel palette. The silhouette turned out compact and predatory — it is the standard look of the Draenor clan weapons from the start of the expansion.

Rykard's Reliable Ribcutter is random loot from the denizens of Draenor. The item has no single fixed boss or chest: it drops with a very low chance from a multitude of ordinary mobs across the entire Warlords of Draenor continent.

• The dagger belongs to the general random-loot category: according to Wowhead, it is dropped by dozens of different creatures in Frostfire Ridge and other zones of Draenor.
• The drop chance from each individual mob is extremely low — measured in fractions of a percent — so the item is obtained through long farming rather than killing one specific target.
• The blade is not tied to a difficulty and has no attempt limit: any source works, and you can farm it as much as you like.
• The finished item becomes soulbound when equipped, but that is no obstacle for a transmog collection — the appearance is credited upon receipt.

A good concentration of suitable targets is the Shadowmoon Burial Grounds dungeon in Shadowmoon Valley. The Shadowmoon clan humanoids inside, such as the Shadowmoon Bone-Mender and the Shadowmoon Exhumer, are listed among the dagger's sources. At max level the dungeon is cleared solo in a couple of minutes, so it is convenient to run on repeat for this and other Draenor models.
