Seat of the Triumvirate

Seat of the Triumvirate is a dungeon added in the Legion expansion. It previously featured Mythic+ runs. The dungeon has undergone significant changes to mob and boss mechanics to adapt it to the current Midnight expansion.

This guide will detail all the dungeon mechanics and explain the nuances of battling bosses and elite enemies within.

Zuraal the Ascended

Boss’s Main Abilities

  • Oozing Slam

Zuraal selects a random target and, after 5 seconds, jumps toward them, dealing damage and leaving a Void Poison zone at the landing point. This zone deals massive damage per second to anyone who steps into it.

  • Null Palm

A conical void beam targets a random player, dealing devastating damage.

  • Void Slash

The boss strikes their target three times, dealing massive damage.

  • Decimate

All players take damage and are afflicted by a curse that deals damage every second for 6 seconds. Void Clumps also begin moving toward the boss; when they die, they leave a Void Poison zone.

  • Crushing Void
When the boss’s energy reaches 100%, Zuraal pulls players and Void Clumps toward himself, dealing heavy damage to all players and knocking them back.

Strategy for Battling Zuraal the Reforged

  • Tanks
Void Slash deals very high damage — use defensive cooldowns to mitigate it.
Position the boss so that Void Clumps don’t reach him. If the boss absorbs a clump, it deals massive damage to the entire group.

  • Healers
Focus healing during Void Slash, Decimate, and Crushing Void. Outside these abilities, damage is minimal if mechanics are executed correctly.

  • DPS
Move Oozing Slam zones as far from the boss as possible to preserve clean areas. Use defensive cooldowns when the boss jumps, as the ability deals both immediate and periodic damage.

Ensure Void Clumps aren’t in the boss’s path during the jump — absorbing a clump will deal massive group damage.

Avoid the Null Palm cone — it can be lethal if you remain in its path.
Prioritize killing Void Clumps — if they reach the boss or are pulled in, the group takes massive damage.

Clumps leave Void Poison zones when they die. Killing them quickly preserves more safe areas.

Sarpush

Boss’s Main Abilities

The boss commands two mobs with unique mechanics:

  • Nightwing

Periodically, Nightwing flies toward a random target, dealing damage and casting Horrific Screech. If not interrupted, this ability deals heavy damage and applies a 4‑second fear effect to the entire group.

  • Blackfang

Blackfang jumps behind a random target, dealing damage and applying a 5‑second bleed effect.

The boss and mobs share health — you can’t kill the mobs before the boss.

  • Void Bomb

A bomb appears near each player. Stepping into it deals massive damage and applies a curse that damages the player every second for 15 seconds.

  • Phase Rush

Zones appear around all players, following them. After 5 seconds, they explode, dealing damage to all players and destroying any bombs within the blast radius.

  • Overload

Sarpush deals damage to all players and applies a curse that damages them every 2 seconds for 8 seconds.
All remaining bombs explode, dealing damage and applying the Oozing Void curse, which increases damage taken by 20%. Each bomb adds one stack — the effect stacks.

  • Rending Void

Sarpush’s melee attacks deal additional shadow magic damage.

Strategy for Battling Sarpush

  • Tanks

If bombs are present before Overload, you can collect them yourself. Use defensive or magic damage‑immunity abilities for this.
Rending Void deals significant damage — use defensive cooldowns.
Interrupt Horrific Screech from Nightwing — it deals heavy damage and fears the group.

Use Phase Rush to detonate bombs. Stand together with the group to make bomb placement and detonation easier.

  • Healers

Each boss ability damages and curses the group. Save defensive cooldowns for Overload and Phase Rush to quickly restore group health.
Remove debuffs from allies when possible to ease healing.
Use Phase Rush to detonate bombs — stand together with the group.

  • DPS

Interrupt Horrific Screech from Nightwing.

Use Phase Rush to detonate bombs — stand together. If your class grants damage or magic immunity, you can detonate remaining bombs before Overload.

Viceroy Nezhar

Boss’s Main Abilities

  • Mind Blast

Nezhar strikes his target with shadow magic, dealing massive damage. This ability can be interrupted.

  • Mass Void Saturation

The boss curses all players, dealing damage every second for 5 seconds.

  • Shadow Tentacles

Tentacles appear on the field, dealing heavy damage to players.

  • Gate of the Great Void

The boss places two portals, which fire balls in four directions every 5 seconds. If a ball hits a player, they take significant damage and a 4‑second curse that deals heavy periodic damage.

  • Bursting Void

At 100% energy, the boss knocks all players back and applies a slow effect. After 5 seconds, the entire platform is covered in a deadly zone — only the area near the boss is safe.

Strategy for Battling Viceroy Nezhar

  • Tanks

Interrupt Mind Blast frequently and use defensive cooldowns during Mind Blast, Shadow Tentacles, and Mass Void Saturation.
Before Bursting Void, position the boss in the center of the platform so the group can quickly reach the safe zone.

  • Healers

Remove debuffs when possible to ease healing.
Use strong defensive cooldowns during Mass Void Saturation.

  • DPS

Interrupt Mind Blast as often as possible — it deals massive tank damage.
Prioritize killing Shadow Tentacles — they spawn just before other high‑damage abilities.

L'ura

Boss’s Main Abilities

  • Disintegration

Three rotating beams appear around the boss. Contact with a beam deals massive damage per second.

  • Notes of Despair

Six resonators are present on the battlefield. Every 1.5 seconds, they apply stacking curse effects to all group members. Each stack increases incoming damage from the Requiem of Despair ability by 3%.

  • Requiem of Despair

L'ura deals shadow damage to all players. Each Notes of Despair effect on a target adds extra damage.

  • Gloomy Chorus

Three zones appear on the battlefield. Nearly the entire arena becomes covered, and players caught in these zones at the moment of detonation will be instantly killed.

  • Dissonant Beam

Three players are marked, and beams of light move toward them. If a light beam passes through a player, it can silence a resonator and remove all active Notes of Despair effects from the targets.

  • Symphony of Eternal Night

Once all resonators are destroyed, the boss uses several abilities that deal damage in three directions from the boss and create numerous special zones. These zones deal damage to anyone who steps into them.

  • Void Spear

Every 4 seconds, L'ura opens a rift. Once three rifts appear, she strikes a chosen target with three spears, and the portals close.

  • Void Drain

After the resonators are destroyed, the boss is stunned for 20 seconds, and incoming damage against the boss increases by 200%.
After 20 seconds, the resonators reactivate.

Strategy for Battling L'ura

  • Tanks

Make sure to position the boss in the center of the arena. This allows all group members to execute boss mechanics quickly and easily, and provides more space for movement during Disintegration and Gloomy Chorus.

Void Spear deals heavy damage. Try to use defensive abilities during these strikes.

  • Healers

The boss deals significant damage throughout the entire fight. Allocate defensive cooldowns strategically to ensure you can quickly restore health to group members after Requiem of Despair is cast.

  • DPS

Your main task in this encounter is to properly position the Dissonant Beams.
You must silence all resonators within two uses of this ability; otherwise, you will die to Symphony of Eternal Night.

Elite Enemies

After defeating the first boss, you must close 4 portals. Each portal is guarded by a group of monsters led by the mini‑boss Breach Warden.

Screenshot 2026-02-16 085915.png

The Breach Warden applies damaging zones under players’s feet and also inflicts fear on random targets for 3.5 seconds.

The tank’s task is to keep the Breach Warden close to the portal. If you move him away from it, the portal becomes unstable and starts dealing massive damage to all players.
