Shipwrecker's Bludgeon — Transmog Set Guide
Overview

Shipwrecker's Bludgeon is a one-handed mace of the bludgeoning type, added to World of Warcraft in The War Within expansion. It is a melee weapon, so first and foremost it suits Strength and Agility classes that wield one-handed maces — Warriors, Paladins, Shamans, Rogues, Monks, and Death Knights.
Source
The appearance is obtained in The Dawnbreaker dungeon — a The War Within dungeon set aboard a flying Arathi flagship. The item's source is the final boss, Rasha'nan.
- The mace drops directly from Rasha'nan as part of his loot table.
- The drop is possible on any dungeon difficulty — Normal, Heroic, and Mythic, including Mythic+.
- There are no weekly restrictions on farming the appearance: you can reset the dungeon on Heroic difficulty back to back as many times as you like.
- The item becomes soulbound on pickup, so it cannot be passed to another character — collect the appearance on the hero who actually needs it.
The fastest method is to set the dungeon to Heroic difficulty, run to Rasha'nan, and reset the instance. If you are already running Mythic+ The Dawnbreaker in the current season, the appearance may drop along the way.
Who It Suits Visually
- It harmonizes with gold-and-white and cream plate armor sets — looks for Paladins and holy defenders.
- It fits Arathi-themed sets and the Khaz Algar aesthetic in a light palette thanks to its crystalline pommel.
- It works in the looks of nimble melee fighters, where a large weapon would overload the silhouette.
- It contrasts with dark shadow sets — a debatable but striking pairing of light and darkness.
- It serves as a compact ceremonial accent for Rogues, Monks, and Shamans.
Tips
Set the dungeon to Heroic difficulty: it is faster than Normal and does not require a Mythic key.
Rasha'nan is the final boss, so you will still have to clear the dungeon to the end, unlike with early bosses.
The mace becomes soulbound on pickup, so farm it on the character who needs the appearance.
The appearance drops on any difficulty, so choose the mode that is fastest for you, not the highest.
In Midnight the dungeon can be soloed at the max level of 90 on most classes, which makes farming fast and independent of a group.
If you are collecting several appearances of this model, it is more convenient to farm it along the way during Mythic+ runs in the season.
The weapon is interesting only as transmog — its stats are long outdated, so don't waste time on its parameters.
