Shockwave Truncheon — Transmog Set Guide
Overview

Shockwave Truncheon is an epic one-handed mace from The Burning Crusade era. The model resembles a short club with a heavy head and a muted glow — a understated yet memorable silhouette that fits the looks of healers and melee casters well. Despite its modest item level, the appearance is valued by collectors for its clean shape without unnecessary details.
Source
The Shockwave Truncheon drops from the final boss of the Shadow Labyrinth dungeon, located beneath Terokkar Forest.
- The mace is obtained from Murmur — a boss that only appears on the heroic difficulty of the dungeon.
- The drop chance is around 8%, so the item may not drop in a single run.
- Murmur's coordinates inside the dungeon:
/way 80.8 39.1. - The item becomes soulbound on pickup, so you need to farm it on the character for whom you want to unlock the appearance.
- The heroic dungeon has no daily lockout, so if you are unlucky you can re-enter and kill the boss again.
Who It Suits Visually
- Pairs well with priest and shaman sets in a calm color palette thanks to the understated shape of the head.
- Harmonizes with cloth and mail healer sets where you need a compact one-handed item rather than a bulky staff.
- Looks great alongside a shield or tome — the "battle priest" look with a mace in one hand.
- Contrasts with brightly decorated weapons — a calm choice when the focus of the look is on the armor rather than the weapon.
Tips
Enter the Shadow Labyrinth on heroic difficulty — Murmur does not drop this mace on normal.
At max level 90 the dungeon can be soloed in a few minutes, so farming it is no trouble.
Because of the roughly 8% drop chance, be ready to repeat the run several times — there is no guaranteed drop.
Since the item is soulbound on pickup, unlock the appearance on the class that needs a one-handed caster mace.
Along with the mace, other transmog drops from Murmur and the dungeon's other bosses — collect everything at once so you don't have to return.
Only the model matters for transmog: item level and stats are irrelevant.
